I use standard deviation on O/U. Factoring in defensive/offensive rankings. I’m getting 57% winning % so far. Approx 350 bets. I can add other factors but did not wan’t to complicate it as it all boils down the standard deviation result anyway using historic results.

If you have the time and patience, there are some pretty good responses in this thread. Me? I ain't got neither, so I just tail the folks who do all the work and appreciate their talent.
I chuckle when I hear, 'cap your own games'. Why on earth would I do that? I don't have the time and more importantly, I suck. I spend the lion's share of my life getting advice from people who are good at their jobs. Some even come to me cause I'm (relatively) good at mine. Why wouldn't I do that with gambling?
There are amazing handicappers on this site, if you can navigate through some of the mess. Guys hitting near 60% with massive sample sizes. There's even a guy in here who has taken his time to navigate through the fog and give us a list.
All that said, and it's been mentioned by a few, the in-game betting intrigues me. With the massive swings in the NBA, you can probably find some good opportunities (middles maybe) if you can avoid getting juiced out. If you do that, like in poker, start with mini stakes and see how it goes.
