@BB - the spurs will win the series so I wouldn't hedge although 0-4 ATS, my god. Eventually, the Spurs will come to and they are among the only teams in the league along with the Heat you can count in to do so.
I'd be more concerned about the Nets tonight in your SA/LA/NJ parlay because this game will determine who wins the series IMO (not so in the Spurs series even if they somehow dropped tonight's game).
I can so see Dallas fans cursing the name of ex-spur Dejaun Blair for losing this series for them for all eternity with the Chun Li head kick to Tiago.
I'm sitting out the next couple of days (except for your teaser tonight) because I'm expecting a big Nets win in game 6. That game came to me (as in a dream) once the Nets lost at home in embarrassing fashion. I think it is a great gambling opportunity and possibly the only blow out in this series. If the Nets lose tonight that game is gonna be even better to bet on.

I feel the same way about the rockets tonight as stated, and if not for Beverly, I'd be on the side for a lot.
More dreams...interesting! If they win tonight obviously, it won't be as solid laying points in a close out game laying points to the gritty Raps obviously.
@bob - please change your avatar bob. I wasn't even in OKC but I can't look at that man for interfering with a series that has gone to an incredible 4 straight OT's!

Might tail you on this one due to me having Portland series bet and me liking the Nets. If Houston wins, teaser hits and series bet still has a chance. But if Houston loses tonight, the teaser loses but my series bet wins so i'd be happy either way. GL Scal

I saw your thread and saw the nets play and the cautious half unit on the full game (for my money, wise, given the risk involved).
Nets at +8 (now +7.5)? A no brainer in my book. Although I do want to see them come out fast because their offense is more limited than most here think.
And yes, I have a really hard time believing Houston can win this series but this game is a tremendous spot for them. Beverly/Lin vs. Lillard is a huge mismatch and has made Lillard look like a star and Matthews on Harden has given the Beard a world of problems (if any of you guys want to see first rate in your face D on the perimeter in these playoffs Tony Allen and Wesly Matthews are providing it in spades). Those two matchup issues should bring it home for Portland and your series bet. Gotta see what Houston does tonight and if Beverly can show me more (a lot to ask from him with a fever).
But tonight? I simply cannot tease Portland up as: 1) there is no shame for the blazers to get blown out here or lose by 10+ as the series is still well in hand and 2) I have the Houston ML as being very, very strong which the tease gets us to (line now 5 so to .5 it is a true ML) in a do or die must win with all the marbles and a two faces of the NBA who will go down with blood on their hands in Dwight (who is no bum in this series let me tell you) and the Beard.

5dimes offers 5 point teases at -110, ties reduce

@Trey - that's not the conclusion I came to after I capped it, hence the write-up. Ya gotta remember Houston was up 10 almost the entire second half in Portland before a barrage of scoring have it all back. That's impressive and perhaps the giveback isn't there at home. Even if it is, all they have to do is stave off elimination for that leg to hit.

@oilers - so you'd take the Raps by >8???

Dont like houston tonight..... they are fragile right now.....
i can see them losing tonight after Portland hangs around and then goes on a run. No doubt Houston comes out strong and fast but theyre not the type of team to lock this game in teh first half.... and portland is the opposite they'll always come back and make a run on you.....Portland has been having their number this series.... and that might be emotionally draining on houston once they do that shiit to them again..... i can see a let down double digit loss for houston tonight.

@gene- I'm more worried about the nets honestly. They've painted themselves in a very tough spot.
All you have to know of Houston is this: if Houston were up 3-1 and believe me, they could be, would the perception of them be this poor, so poor even a ML, in a game Portland doesn't necessarily need in this spot on their home court, can't be trusted? That is too poor IMO. Portland can close them out where they want to, at home, but not here. Losing 3 straight home games is much to little to expect of Houston. Not even the lowly pacers and all the problems within, did that. Houston has big guns. Very big ones. And all we want is an ML. That's not a lot to ask.

I really didn't like the way they ended that game... their body language was bad... and they looked mentally defeated.
It could have been a sweep too as they hung on for dear life in game 3. They had their shot to really make this a series last game and they blew it again so now its 3-1 and looking pretty bad for them now.
This is the one series i got totally wrong as I thought Houston would win this one.

I respect the writeup bro. I am on Portland +12 and +11 in a couple teasers myself. I think the fact that Houston is capable of leading by 8-10 and frequently giving up those leads means they cant play any reliable D. IMO they may win but it'll be very close. Hopefully we can both win! GL!
