And before you go rambling on about how they can only hedge for 2-3 times the amount, you do realize it is GUARANTEED Money. Anyone who argue the validity of that is not worth anyone's time. I believe Proverbs would classify that as time wasted talking to a fool.
So while "congrats" on those 5 wins, they are irrelevant to the topic you created in this thread. It's merely a covering up act you are performing. You realize you were wrong, so now you go find something that has nothing to do with this thread, and throw it up and say HEY! I was right here though!!
The best thing to do when you are wrong is just admit it. Eat the crow. You'll at least earn people's respect.

Excuse me. Putting tickets in a shredder is a figure of speech. It is hyperbole telling those who have them they won't get a dime for them in the end.
And I want to make this clear. I said that AFTER the odds dropped to 3-1.
I NEVER had a doubt in my mind, as stated all throughout this thread, they would make the playoffs. And in the East ANYONE can come out of it especially one with the biggest star of them all.
Cleveland had a very minor struggle at 5-7 and 19-20 and that was it. No one was jumping off buildings at those times and I never doubted they could make the playoffs even as a high seed.
No one is wrong here. The ticket is as good as being shredded until it hits.
I won't even get into effective hedging and the value of effective hedging because too many posters here have demonstrated they do not understand the topic.
And all this talk about 'guaranteed' money. You have no idea what that guarantee is. Is it 2x 3x 4x. If it's 4 times, the 30-1 becomes a 4-1. Well that is nothing to go bonkers about. And might I add, they will be dogs to Golden state which is the worst possible way to hedge. And how much will they hedge for? Will they even hedge? The hundred dollar bettor making $400? Wow! Is that something to bump a thread 100 times for?
We've all hit parlays. There is nothing extraordinary about that.
And might I add, nothing was guaranteed with the Knicks handing the Cavs two of three starters and the Nuggets playing a role with Mozgov.
So here is what you needed after your placed your 30-1 bet:
Lebron signs
Love is traded for
JR and Shumpert are given to the Cavs
Mozgov is traded for two effective high second rounders
Without ALL those things happening, the Cavs are NOT in the place they are today.
And ultimately in the end, that 30-1 STILL will not get paid off. So the hedging for 2/3/4 times their bet (which by the way NO ONE has posted in terms of showing me a hedge) is NOT remarkable or noteworthy in any way! It's a nice little parlay payout.
So until that 30-1 hits, you can keep quiet.
If the 30-1 hits (it won't) come back and hoot and holler. Got it?
NO ONE is wrong. NOTHING had been paid out and NO ONE has posted a hedge. You're posting this like the Cavs have won the championship!!! Wrong!
