Cavs future ticket holders...
Cavs future ticket holders have already cashed guaranteed money by hedging before the finals started. You honestly don't believe they would've let 30-1 ticket ride without hedging.
Fade are you some kind of fool. How do you know the average $100 lottery ticket bettor hedged anything? Up until today, letting it ride looked like a pretty damn good proposition (and bettors love long money).
Have you read NOTHING of what this thread was about.
How much did these people hedge out for? How much did they lose in addition to what they needed to hedge if they hedged down 2-1 to the Bulls or at the start of the Hawks series? Then you were faced with -220 odds (The WORST of the entire playoffs against the best team by far) and you better have several thousand dollars available to even make a halfway decent hedge.
And mind you, now this is all about a HEDGE if the Cavs don't win.
All the hooting and hollering for an ROI as low as a -500 ML hedge. WOW. Get Covers to put that baby on their front page!
And NONE of that was guaranteed from day 1!
Value? What Value? As I said a BILLION TIMES, if JR, Mozgov and Shump are not practically GIVEN to the Cavs, the Cavs may not even be in the Finals. That was extraordinary good fortune for those players to come.
The 30-1 tickets though, the point of this thread, are THREE games from heading to the shredder, as I said for MONTHS.
Now let me be loud and clear when I say this:
Shu* the fu** up you moron!

Melos, you don't throw a +10.1 pt differential in the trash. It is one of the highest in history and ALL teams with that differential have won the championship as I noted (except for one that was beaten by a team with an even bigger pt differential). On top of that, this Warrior team is outstanding in far too many ways in comparison to any team in the East that it doesn't even warrant a conversation
All in all, a close game that went to OT and the Cavs need game 2. That's about what everyone thought (that they must take one of two in GS).
One down...
Three games to go...
Until the shredder starts gettin' revved up....BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
(that is unless you have a spare $6,000 around to hedge your bet which, oh I don't know 99% of bettors here do not have)

Come on Melos,
Heat had Shaq and Wade
Pistons had an incredibly good defensive team (and one that was underestimated as they rolled through the last half of the year)
The Celtics had the first 'Big Three' in Garnett, Allen, and Pierce
and those Bulls teams can match up against the greatest teams of all time and win.
When teams like the Nets made the finals I knew they simply couldn't get it done.
And yes, this team has Lebron but they are clearly hobbled and the team just isn't deep. Warriors are going 10 deep with confidence.
I'm sorry, there is (was) a huge horseshoe up the a** of the Cavs that is now turning into ....rust.

Well folks, it's time for those Cavs hedgers to reap in those MASSIVE profits. Back up the truck because the garbage bags full of cash are going to need many a handler so you can haul your 30-1 profits home.
And what are those profits? Well, although the Cavs may put up a fight the rest of the series, they will not win. We know that now.
And early on in the thread I said over and over:
Yes, folks we had ONE poster, ONE, who actually had to set aside nearly SIX GRAND for profit of $1200 (or an ROI of 21%). Compare this to all the hooting and hollering of an ROI of 3000%! People were dancing in the streets when LBJ signed...now they are on their knees in prayer.
Well kiss that 3000% GOODBYE like you are saying farewell to some navy boy being sent to service as you wave a white hanky dockside.
Now this kid above (and again, he's a nice kid), goes from making $11,200 to....$1,200. And he needs a whopping $5,500+ available to do it. Wanna lay that in Vegas? Get ready to run around in the hot Vegas sun while you bake like corn biscuit since one casino almost certainly won't take that much on a series bet. Online? Better have the money! Most guys here are in DEBT, not up $5,500.

And to say it's 'guaranteed'....Reaaaaaaly?
Was it 'guaranteed' when Love popped his shoulder out?
Was it 'guaranteed' when the Bulls were up 2-1 and Blatt pulled a Chris Webber that almost put the Bulls up 3-1 (and then got an unofficial time out from the refs to set up a play which Blatt then wanted Lebron to INBOUND during). Was it 'guaranteed' against the 60 win Hawks before that series started?
If you bet ANY of these scenarios, if you hedged at all during any of them (like this kid above did during some), you lost...since the Cavs won those games. And you might have lost quite a bit. And that means you had to hedge during the Finals.
And what were the Finals odds? -225 for Game 1, the WORST during the entire playoffs.
And now we are at game 2. Have you hedged yet?
If you haven't, you need to risk a mind-blowing SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS to win.....
ONE THOUSAND!
And that one thousand may not even cover what you lost if you hedged out of your bet at any point during the Bulls series or Hawks series. $100 turns to $200 turns to $500 and even $1,000 very quickly when you are hedging out several rounds. And quickly dismiss Rangerz suggestion someone hedged out during the regular season with a "Cavs won't win the championship". Get him another drink and make it a double.
-700....it's hedge time baby!!!! They are waitin' for ya at the window with a ticket and smile! :)
Yeah and it's all G U A R A N T E E D at -700. Enjoy that line like you would enjoy eating glass.
If you got in at -225, ok, but it's not all that ok since that line also blows. This kid says he made $1,200 if he hedged out completely before game 1 with a $5,500 bankroll dedicatedly completely to hedging. That's IF he pulled the trigger for EVERYTHING which he might not have.
Yeah, it gets a bit sticky, as I said all along...as I said these Cavs tickets at 30-1 or 3-1 would not cash.....but as much as ya say it FadeORide and his clans of idiot windbags will just deny that and believe it was this unbelievably great bet that all this could just be hedged out on a whim for all this guaranteed profit. But what kind of profit? And how much do you need on hand to get that profit? Ah, let's just ignore all that. And now, as the Cavs whither, that profit looks more and more like ashtray money.
Ah well....30-1 long bettors who did nothing? I'm firing up that shredder as you pray to the betting gods Lebron can take you home.
And he's gonna take you home....right to the gutter baby....
