The SAME game happened last year with Draymond not playing in game 5, Curry gimpy, Iguodala gimpy, with no rim protection because Bogut bowed out.

Now ALL of that is gone.

Now you add KD. Now you have Curry playing at an MVP of the series level. Now you have Klay heating up. Now you have a riffing crew who is AFRAID to eject Draymond. Now you have the exact same spot at home this year...the chance to right the 3-1 stigma with all this firepower. And you think Cleveland is the better team in that spot???


This team has won 30 of 32 games. It is arguably the greatest ever.

And you are backing a team with Deron Williams and Kyle Korver as primary bench players. They have NO BENCH. This is game ONE HUNDRED for the Cavs.

The Warriors will win by DD. The first two games with the exact same teams were LAUGHERS in Golden State and they even took Game 3.

And you are taking the ML. Wow. I can't even offer good luck. It's burning money. Barring injury, the series is over. I only have to cover 9.

hey cal nice write up as always but.....   100 games, fatigue?   I don't believe that at all.   Maybe in final minutes but even that is a stretch..   I am on the warriors and my reasoning is that they have something to settle....cleveland put up 137 and I am well aware of 22 ft attempts in 1st qtr but tells me no signs of tiring.   Now hitting all those 3's that is a different story.  I do not believe they can maintain that kind of accuracy.  Warriors game plan was different last game, appeared to me they were not attacking like the first 3 games.  Kyrie is a superstar, 3rd best on the court.  He can score at will and he does.  This is the playoff finals, you rest when it is over... And the cavs will get their rest late monday night.   good luck   great read

Scooby, it's ok not to believe 100 games causes to fatigue.

But believing it or not doesn't disprove it. What is proven is that Lebron cannot be taken out of the game. And yes, the Warriors can be taken out because they have so much behind them.

And this has been the theme of the playoffs for the Cavs.

And when he comes out, the cavs get bombed. 

So the point was that he is being left in the game, even up 19 going into the 4th quarter. Even in blowouts he is playing full minutes, on both sides of the ball, because Lue is deathly afraid of the Warriors coming back from any and all deficits. 

And that creates wear and tear. And that affects Lebron and Kyrie and the starters little by little by little. And at game 100, that matters (it mattered even at the end of the season).

So that is my argument for the fatigue factor. And that of course continues through this game. Lebron cannot come out, with any lead or any deficit for any significant stretch. And that is why the Cavs cannot win the series, because they are up against an extremely deep bench, not to mention one of the best starting 5's ever.

That was it. That is my stance on the fatigue factor bullet point. It is real and relevant and will have an effect on this game as it did many others.

I want to go under the total.

Why?

This is the biggest playoff total EVER. I cannot find a bigger than than 231-232. 

And guess what, >60% of the money is STILL ON the over. Because the public loves overs as we all know. And Vegas took this total TO THE MOON knowing the public will bet any total particularly after watching 137 being dropped on one of the best defensive teams in the league.

But because I have the Warriors -9, I can't bet it. Because those two bets are incongruent. Thanks Jordan.

Great write up! Read it with pleasure  Thank you.

Few points as I see them about tonight's game:

1. We all agree, that gsw is better team generally;
2. GSW at home in revenge mode;

1. It's scripted for LBJ and Cavs blah blah bah.

2>1 (however if we believe in scripts it could be scripted for gsw and KD as well)

Mathematically is always better to take home team moreover it's the best starting 5 in history so I see this as warriors in DD.

chignix,  That, my friend is highly debatable... Curry & Durant are 'great' Thompson & Green are All Stars. Okay now check out the LA Lakers era of Magic, Jabbar, Worthy (all perennial All Stars, all Hall of Famer's) or some of the outstanding Celtic championship teams from the past Larry Bird era.. the GSW are without doubt a great team, but the best starting 5 in NBA history?  'that has yet to be witnessed'

btw: no rational handicapper betting the NBA will ever confirm a scripted game, or that a scripted game has ever taken place in the modern era of the NBA. nor has one ever been investigated, or proven to be factually 'scripted. that's the facts, not the whims, and fairytales, of those starving for attention, entering a Covers forum with nothing but controvercial Bullsh!t, always talking 'scripted' with no basis whatsoever, except their own pee-brain imagination....

Sports - from a red perspective there were scripted games. Tim Dognehy admitted to scripting the O/U totals. But on this site "scripting" has been taken to astronomical levels and it has become so exhausting to battle off. So your larger point is true but not 100%.

We can discuss is this gsw starting 5 the best of the best or not, but we all confirm that gsw has better starting 5 and bench than Cavs. 

I just don't see any other pros for cavs except that bull**it about scripts and lbj better than mj.... 

We all know that there are a lot of scripted, fixed, rigged games in sports, but let me ask why the hell you need to script so fu**ing obvious from 0-3 series against  one of the best team in history and do that for second straight year ?? 

Does anybody believe that in normal circumstances (without script) Cavs can beat warriors today at Oracle?

Well scal, I love the under too, if you think gsw can cover , you should take the under as well, most likely a blowout !!! If you think this is a back n forth game and cavs still have a chance, definitely over

Long time reader.. don't always follow but love the input. Put this in as the last leg of a parlay that will pay out $3500 so lets go GS -8.5
Expect GS to get out early in this one so not even looking to hedge till the half if at all. As I expect this to be the last game of the season just wanted to say thanks for all the time you put in Scalabrine.

The reason GS is only fav by 9 is bc they got blown out by Cavs.....its a do or die situation for Cavs i see this game being much closer maybe within 5 points for either team....thats why i am gonna ride Cavs +9 but GL on ur pick
