I watched 6 post season games of the nuggets and 5 of the lakers.Since the Nuggets are pretty populer in covers since they've been covering the spreads,I see people are carried away and mentioning denver for potential championship for christ sake.
 
It's all about the match-ups,if lakers was to play portland,portland could have stolen 1-2 games from the lakers but i don't see denver winning a single game.And I say this despite hating the lakers by passion.
 
denver is all about offense,no defense at all.nowitzki is a class player but they tried everyone on him,he kept scoring 35 with 10-15 boards night in night out.
 
Who will defend Kobe?houston won against lakers twice because they are better defensibvely than denver,they have shane battier,ron artest who can defend well.
 
can't wait the lakers-denver series to start so that i can pound on the lakers each 4 games.

you'll see buddy,i dont expect any nuggets fans to agree,especially while winning against dallas,which i congratulate.
 
pao gasol will give headache and put nene,kenyon easily in foul trouble,they have bynum and odom who can kill denver in inside.
 
i can see carmelo being tossed out for frustration and punching sasha

I'm not a Nuggets fan.  I hate the fucking Nuggets.  But it took them 5 to beat Utah and at least 6 for Houston.  Think about it.

dallas made san antonio miserable and won 4-1 but they still suck big time,so does overrated 1 player team hornets.
 
lakers would be back to reality check for denver,they will lose the first 2 in blow outs,get close in 3rd,still lose and pack up for fishing in 4th game

Is this a serious thread?  Utah, playing like dogshit, took one off LA.  Houston has taken 2 and counting and are not playing close to Denver's level.

Me too because that would be a sweep. The Cavs have a lockdown defense. Don't want to credit their postseason foes? Just look at their regular season defensive stats. All the talk is about LeBron but their defense is what is really special.

 It's Sac with Webber vs Lakers in the Finals. Going to be a great series. Lakers will not win in Denver this time around.

it's possible but Stern will obviously make this series worth watching. Ratings, ratings, ratings... It's the Lakers after all so they'll go along with his plan.

But LA has is not a defensive team --- they are an offensive team
 
I think this matchup of LA vs Denver is where Carmelo will finally make his FAME (reg season you make your name and the playoffs is where you make your fame)
 
I do not think Ariza or Kobe will be able to stop Melo and Billups has always been a thorn in the Lakers side.
 
I also like JR smith to cause trouble and Nene, Birdman and K Mart to bang with Gasol and Bynum
 
This matchup is more even than you realize.
 
It will be an interesting and high scoring series.

dont underestimate gasol's post plays.

he has similar skills to nowitzki in the paint,take the ball,footwork,hook shot or penetrate,he has a nice touch too.

denver bigs dont have that touch,and they wont have that dunk festival when bynum,gasol is covering it not that fatass low iq dampier

This shit cracks me up. Lakers won't sweep the nuggets. I got to admit though. Denver is the BIGGEST PRETENDER. They beat a SHITTY mavericks team and now everyone has them as world beaters going to the finals to beat Cleveland.  
 
They play absolutely no D fense and make the Utah Jazz look like one of the best road teams in the NBA.

Denver will do to the Lakers what they did with the Mavs. Let Kobe do whatever like Dirk and let someone else beat them. I like them chances with 3 scorer in Melo, Billups, and Smith who all has the ability to drop 30 or more points without anybody setting them up for a shot.
