I'm not sure y everyone is on the Nuggets bandwagon!  They played 2 of the worst interior defensive teams and 2 teams that had no threat at Center!  Lets see if they can handle a team against someone with some skill in the middle and to all the Kobe haters...watch and see what happens after Kobe goes off on the Nuggets adn the Lakers beat the Nugs in 5!  Also, Carl has never won anything and now you all think there gonna beat the Lakeshow cause they beat a Mavs team who plays no D and a beat up Hornets team who stumbled into the playoffs. PLZ you all need to put the bong down and wake up to reality!

That's just his trademark intro. I don't have a problem with that. I didn't like the "team photo" garbage and hope that stops. The commercial is just a parody of his intro and doesn't make fun of LeBron. If you think LeBron would be offended by that you are crazy.

Any update or apology for calling me out without the facts?? Or are you going to be a little bitch and rattle off some regular season numbers that don't mean much at this point unless they duplicate it again. Then it is a trend.

yes lakers lost to houston twice,houston has ron artest,shane battier and brooks who are all good defenders as well,these 3 are from their starter 5.

Well, first off, defense is an attitude,  it's a team determination thing.  Second, Carmelo's defensive game has improved tremendously (but that's not the player you're looking for as an answer here and I'd agree with that).  Under the basket, NENE and MARTIN are have stepped it up.  Let's see, since they've been thriving off turnovers all year, um, and that happens with a good defense (usually, unless you're Jason Kid), so I gotta disagree, respectfully.  GL ELSEWHERE.  SEE YA on a thread next series.  Looking forward to it actually.  Take a look at the defensive stats for the season dude in the NBA.  Take a look at the numbers.  Second chances, rebounds, look at the stats if you want to talk defense.

You must have missed Tuesday's Game 5 at Staples...Bynum looked damn good and it appears he's finally gained his confidence back (which is all I think he needed, he actually told the media he lost his confidencea few games ago).

FYI: The Nuggets have scored a ton of points vs. the Mavs because the Mavs probably play even less defense than the Nuggets themselves do, which is a rare feat.

agreed with improvement of carmelo since arrival of billups,defensively and offensively both,his fg% has improved well and he was actually the only one who did his best and bothered dirk at times.

but if we re naming carmelo  as defender of a team that will play against lakers,oh boy we have a bg problem here

#1 - The Mavs have been a disappointment in the playoffs almost every year with Nowitzki,remember when as a #1 seed a couple years ago they were beaten in the 1st round by the 8th seeded Warriors? Case in point...they are like the Suns, great regular season team and terrible playoff team. They play a regular season style that will win plenty of game, but, it is not "playoff basketball". The only reason they made it past the 1st round was becasue the Spurs were missing Ginobili. 

#2 - The Hornets were plagued by injuries and over the last 20-30 games of the season their quality of play had really fallen off, they probably shouldn't have even been in the playoffs.

not so fast,wait until you see nene and kenyon both being in foul troubles whole series since they have no idea abut fundamentals of positioning against players like dirk,gasol.dont be surprised when gasol has a heck of a series

as i said before,dallas had dampier in the paint only,dirk was getting a lot of rebounds but mainly defensive,he's not a stopper or defender.

you play in the paint against dampier and now you play against gasol,bynum,odom.

Yeah, an Utah team that lost to Goldenstate at home yet they still game the Lakers a good series. Houston, they don't even have their best player yet they bet you guys by double digits. Houston or Utah don't even have remotely close to the explosive offense Denver is will be bringing to that defenseless Lakers team.

i agree with both facts,sometimes you give credit to a player in his absence more than when he's playing.this is the case for ginobili-the spurs.without ginobili,a guy who penetrates and has very high basketball IQ (as well as flopping skills),the spurs were done already,they arent any better than fuckin 76 ers to me.

if phx suns were in the play offs rather than hornets, think denver-phx series would go to 7 games,new orleans has thrown towel even before the play off's,they sent their center in a trade and the guy had no confidence since his return,so many injuries in the team since all star break etc
