not in your wildest dream can the lakers sweep the nuggets..the nugget will give the lakers a run for their money.who knows who will be victorious,a great series it will be,

Seriously in all honesty, if the refs dont officiate favorable for LA like they seem to do...this series might go 7. But I see Denver winning in 6. Im am throwing all kinds of loot on Denver to win the series, for them to win in 6, 7 and for LA to win in 6 and 7 for insurance.

Not out of the question my friend. If KG was really hurt that bad and done for the season he would of had surgery a month ago and been rehabing to get ready for next year.

He's been off over a month now. This shit is getting like WWE. Watch Celtics go down 2-0 to Cleveland and KG comes back for game 3.

C'mon fellas let be honest here, wouldn't it be better for the NBA to see a Melo vs Lebron matchup instead of a washed up Kobe Bryant and a gay ass looking Gasol, Walton, Sasha. Nobody wants to see these gurly looking muthafcukers in the Finals.

Now I certainly would NOT come out and say that the Lakers will SWEEP the Nuggets...no way will I make a claim like that. However, I could see the Lakers winning in 5...taking a 2-0 lead to Denver then stealing one in Denver, followed by a closeout in Game 5. It just as easily could go 7 games, but, I would think Lakers in 5 is the most likely scenario.
 
To those of you who are still doubting the Lakers, just a little advice: As we have seen time and time again with this Laker team, they play to their competition, AND, when they want to or they need to, they play like easily the best team in the league (just ask LeBron, check his individual numbers vs. the Lakers). Do not be fooled by the Nuggets cruising past the far inferior Hornets and Mavericks...the Lakers would've cruised just as easily if not easier vs. those 2 teams. This is not talking shit, this is not talking smack; this is just a little advice. Don't believe the hype...the hype will quickly deplete your bankroll.

elsewhere, i'll write your action on a sweep.... good luck winning in denver twice....   gasol stinks     bynum is giving you nothing right now...   they will have problems matching up with kobe, i'll give you that... but who is going to defend billups,  fisher ?    please...  if you dont get odom to start playing, you'll be lucky to win the series, let alone a sweep

I could see this happening but after being out this long I don't think he jumps in there and contributes like they're used to him contributing.

hope you don't put alot on a LA sweep,it ain't going to happen,their having enough problems with Houston and they can't score like Denver,so lots of luck with your sweep

Since when was a 49 winning team Hornets and a 50 win team Dallas who beat a 54 win team Spurs 4-1 inferior. What are you doing, smoking crack. This is the west not the east., no team is inferior in this division.

Keeping holding on to what the Lakers did to that trigger happy Iverson lead Nuggets team last year, because your going to be sourly disappointed.

defend billups?billups is not tony parker or brooks,he's not speedy penetrating guard that messes the paint and give open looks or a guy that sees open teammates easily like nash/c paul etc.
 
he is a solid,consistent guard with good ball handle and great shooter when he's open,they wont have those open 3 pointer looks against lakers nor they will have the circus dunks festivals against lakers bigs.

You better bring up all the regular season numbers while you can because they won't be the same in the Finals and you know that. That's why you're hanging on to that while you can.

I'd welcome the Lakers as well. Wouldn't dominate like they would against Denver but are good enough to beat a healthy Lakers team because of their team defense.

Actually no...you must not know anything about what makes money in the NBA. The Nuggets would absolutely KILL the ratings. Nobody wants to see the Nuggets but people in Colorado and the Laker-hating degenerates on this site. The NBA along with ESPN/ABC want no part of the Nuggets...the stage is already set, LAKERS vs. CAVS. 

Didn't you see the LeBron/Kobe Nike commercial with them getting ready for the Finals last night? I'm surprised LeBron let Nike run that commercial, they made him look like a douche with those piles of chalk at the end of the commercial...

You are nuts.  Do you live in Denver, just wondering?  This team is not satisfied with this victory.  TRUST ME DUDE.  Coach KARL wants a ring very, very badly and he seems to have, somehow, I don't know how, instilled that into this team.  Why Karl waited 5 years to start stressing defense is beyond me (or has he been here).

but after denver's success in post season,some folks are really blind and carried away.
 
yes lakers lost to houston twice,houston has ron artest,shane battier and brooks who are all good defenders as well,these 3 are from their starter 5.
 
tell me who is a good defender in denver except birdman?any defender in the starting 5?
