 all of you saying drose sucks or is overrated must have short term memory. the bulls were the number one seed last year before his injury because of him... why come back when not mentally ready?  what if he tears it again, career over.  They aren't beating Miami this year with/without Rose, so come back at the start of next year, 100 percent healthy, and make a run at the title.

Before the ACL tear, didn't Rose play hurt a few times, w/ some painful injuries?   I thought he did.

That being said, Rose is a moron with respect to PR issues.  If he doesn't feel healthy enough, that's fine. But then don't practice with the team.  If he can practice, why can't he play?

derrick rose has been paid already for this season and he is trying to financially secure his future. if u guys recall, shumpert suffered the same injury the next day or couple days later, but shumpert needs to show his value to nba teams since he is a rotation player, hence the comeback in january. rose wants to continue to be the 16 million dollar man and it wouldn't be in his best interest to play at a diminished level since he has no need to prove himself unlike shumpert who has a team option on his contract in 2014 and is chasing to prove he has overcame this knee injury. Rose also, if u guys recall, returned last year "quickly" from a injury to make it in time for the playoffs and suffered the injury in game 1 (I believe). His next contract would not be worth that much if he was to come back not the same Derrick Rose we are accustomed to seeing. Sad but true that all these guys care about is securing the almighty dollar. I don't blame rose but rather the bulls for allowing this nonsense to continue. Either shut down the public pregame warm ups and teasing the fans and media or demand he stops acting like a diva and start doing his job of playing ball.

Have you ever played sports before, Noah is hurt, you can play hurt, Rose is injured, big difference. You guys keep talking about cashing checks, Rose makes more off the court than he does on it.

 D. Rose What total freak of Nature!!! He must really be hurting to miss the playoffs.. Also, L.Deng with that dang stuffy nose.. He must have had bad sniffles to miss a key playoff game...
