Great insight. I was leaning towards knicks as well. Everyone says "they're def going to make the playoffs" but were getting closer and closer to playoff time and they're like 11 games below .50. If they have any intention of making the playoffs they need to win games!!! And they're schedule is not getting any easier... This is a chance for the knicks to get back on track and like you said go into the all star break on a high note. KNICK+1.5 LESSS GOO!!
All good points...

Oh, and just to add a bit of a whipped topping to this pick.
Not that important but a tidbit nonetheless...
Guess who gets the Knicks unprotected first round pick this year?
Yup. Denver.
In the deepest draft in years.
So every loss for the Knicks is a chance at a better pick for Denver, again unprotected, and the Knicks are one of the worst teams in the league as I type.
While not important enough to mention in the OP, it is a tidbit that gets to players ears via reporters and can only heighten the embarrassment of an already embarrassing Knicks season if this pick is in the top 5 (or even the lottery in this draft).
Just saying. It would be a motivator not for the Nuggets (who would essentially be costing a roster spot for a starter if the pick is high enough by adding another loss to the L column of the Knicks, that is a starter would be intentionally be playing himself out of a job in a small way by letting this info effect his play), but a small motivator for the Knicks.
Motivation: Make the playoffs and get this pick out of the lottery. Start tonight!
Don't put too much stock in this pick but let's not leave one leaf unturned...
(Why does Denver have this pick? The Melo trade)
