I mean. How is this stuff not investigated? Jimmy absolutely no doubt what so ever in my mind, threw game 5.. This is a simple fact based on physical evidence. Game 5 Jimmy Not aggressive, lacked emotion/intensity, passive, not assertive, passed up easy opportunities when singled up vs Boston bigs. I watched him specifically on every single possession because I’m sick like that. He did not want to win game 5 I’ll die with that feeling. Game 6 Magically he did a 180 and played his ass off to win the game. I honestly don’t know what to make of it.. I can only tell you this- public backed Miami at home in game 5 and Boston at home in game 6.
Its not investigated because its probably ordered by the league. You get a call, that says you ain't winning tonight or have a bad game etc.
What butler did in game 5, basically throw the game, then magically remember how to play and be unstoppable 1 game later, tatum did the exact same thing in game 3, then was amazing in game 4. There's no way either performance was legitimate. This series has played out like a long stretched out wwe match where one wrestler beats up on the other one, then when it looks like hes got control then inexplicably the other one takes control until it finally ends, with the winner then taking on the multi time champion. At this point I'm convinced the winner of this series job will be to make the warriors look like a dominant champion solidifying the dynasty.

Have you ever seen a transformation like this in 48 hours. From hobbled, injured, completely in a fog to the reincarnation of Michael Jordan?! I have been watching the Playoffs for over three decades and I’ve never seen a transformation like this. And you can add Lowry to the list of guys who need to be investigated. Did he get a body or heart transplant?
From gm3, after Prichard pulled his leg, Jimmy evidently looked done. Went from 29ppg to 9ppg. He looked like he physically couldn't even will his way to having a semi-decent performance. After gm5 couldn't see Miami come back after seeing, not just Jimmy, but Lowry & PJ physically ailing. Add Herro's groin to the mix and you have all key players for Miami hobbled & out. I saw no way they could possibly come out in gm6 & be able to compete physically.
I was initially shocked to see Jimmy not on the injury list - I assumed it was pure gamesmanship & strategy by Butler & Miami. But then I see him come out & be the 2nd coming of His Airness & I'm scratching my head. 2 games prior Butler looked like he had given up. How the f*Ck did he come out and perform that way when it looked like he could hardly even run up and down the crt in both games prior?!?!?
I did initially have Heat in 7. I checked out after gm6 & withdrew my future on Miami. I bet good money they wouldn't win gm6 lol. So now are Miami going to be limping their way around the crt on gm7 or are we going to see everyone suddenly 100% healthy.

And to really fleece the public, they even had Eric Lewis officiate the game. The refs were not great either way, but really got under Boston’s skin, especially this guy, the supposed Celtics backer, lol.
“Boston has won 14 consecutive games with Eric Lewis officiating including 5 in the playoffs; the longest active streak involving multiple playoff games.”

well not per se but he is on the roster lol. When I saw him on the sideline last night I was like wow didn't know he was still in the league lol

Check this out: Maybe Draymond Green knew his comment would motivate the Heat because that would motivate him as well... Draymond's not dumb, his team is resting while Boston and Miami who are banged up and fatigued have to play game 7 and get less rest...Maybe he feels Miami would be an easier matchup for his Golden State Warriors... NBA entertainment/ drama at it's finest...
Now the NBA and It's marketing department can really sell the NBA finals...if Heat win game 7...

They wouldn't be able to market it more that a Celtics vs Warriors season. These comments are nothing. Tucker took the bait. He has history with the Warriors and probably legit doesn't like them, nor Draymond. Haslem took the bait. Haslem is an old man. In many ways a heart of the team type of guy because he has been there so long, playing for his hometown team in a dream career that has netted him 3 rings, but he doesn't play. He's got nothing but time on his hands to watch TV and get fired up. And it's his job to use whatever bulletin board material he can to fire his guys up. The rest of the team though? I think the only motivation they need is making it to the finals and losing. They have played like a team on a mission all year, grabbing the #1 seed. Guys like Jimmy don't need Draymond. His adversity in life gives him all the fuel he needs to be the ruthless player he is.
Boston is a good team. This series has gone back and forth, with both teams winning in the road. It is not fair for that team, who was the #1 seed, who were only down 3-2 to a good Boston team, it is unfair to them to say, "See, it took Draymond to light a fire under you guys." This team has had a fire all year.
Sure though, maybe it fired up a grandpappy who doesn't play and a guy with a history with the Warriors. What were Butler's comments, or any of the other key guys?

You guys should all meet up in the metaverse and talk about why a professional athlete cannot dare to have a bad game ! How dare jimmy ! And then speak on how a professional athlete can not dare to bounce back IN AN ELIMINATION GAME !

You obviously don’t read or listen to people who follow the game for a living and have done so for many years. They are all shocked at what they saw. Butler’s turnaround was nothing short of a minor miracle. But I’m sure you know better than the folks whose job it is to follow these athletes day in and day out. Name another instance, oh wise one, of a player of Butler’s caliber, disappearing for three games during the playoffs due to “injury,” an absolute no-show, can’t run, jump or score suddenly turning into Michael Jordan 48 hours later in a win or go home game. I’ll wait for your answer.

@ActionMagnet Bro, you do realize that this man is hurt? I would almost guarantee he took the needle before game 6.
Why wouldn't he take the needle before game 4? Or before game 5 when he forgot how to play completely? Does this need;e make a player interested in playing as well?

no show? or just offensive futility. i mean they held boston to 93 points. it was a 1 point game midway through the 3rd quarter. their offense was putrid all game long. i think most knew this would be an ugly series from the start.
it was funny seeing sports talk shows preview a celtics vs warriors matchup in the finals the same day as game 6.

It’s hilarious how you predict gsw will win based on regular season. Do u know Dallas played your team awfully tough in the reg season too. This reminds me of how confident u were when the niners played kc in the sbowl. Sometimes your fandom gets too way in the way of reality

Niners had a 10 point lead in the 4th. Nine out of 10 times they win that game. I’ll take it any time. I’m not basing anything on the regular season, just look at Miami’s lineup. They are being held together by scotch tape and glue. Their best player is a mercurial star who shows up now and again but can nonetheless be shut down by good defenders (Green, Wiggins, Porter and maybe even Iggy and GP junior, if he plays), after Butler they have very little offense. I may be wrong, but to me it’s that simple. Celtics are a lot scarier and more formidable. The problem is the Heat are in their heads and they don’t seem to have the championship experience or pedigree to overcome the mental deficit.

He bridges the gap between the first Championship, then the LeBron years, and now. Player coach at this point.

Yeah, I was sure his sheesh was blown out, and still think there was some partial tearing. I think him and his management, team ownership and management, and the team doctors got together and said, "Ok, this is the risk." Ownership promised him the bag no matter what. They figured they may never get another chance. It's hard to win a title.
