It's funny Bator....I didn't have a penny on the game and was leaning hard on the Under myself...and I posted about how weird the fouls were and how fast they were coming at around the 3:00 mark in the 4th quarter. I hate to use the word "fix" as I've taken so many bad beats and tried to blame it on this out of frustration...but that game was crazy. The worst part was that half the fouls in the final minutes weren't even contact fouls to the ball handler....they were away from the ball fouls and we couldn't even see what the hell was going on. It was hilarious...the whistle blew every 20 seconds and even the players were like "What the Fuck"....kinda looking around to see who the foul was on.
Good description of the bullshit that was going on.

And lastly brother...what the hell are you doing betting 8K on an NBA game. That's just insanity. Don't get me wrong...you may be some very rich stock-broker who pisses 8K away like nothing....then that's cool.
Hey buddy...you left the important sentence out after my comment about betting 8K being insane. I'm sorry bro...that's your business and if you can afford it...more power to you. Wish I had that kind of money....lol. 1st baby is due in June and I'm trying to get some extra cash from the books to contribute to his savings account...lol.
Sorry if I came off as insulting...didn't mean that at all. Your business is your business...my point was people that wager serious cash on NBA or NCAA that don't have a big bankroll are crazy. I'm sorry bud.

Hey Bator...I see people say you do this for a full-time living. Pretty crazy...how come you don't post plays ever? I see once and awhile you'll mention you're on a side during a game conversation..but rarely post a pre-game pick. I'd be very interested to see your handicapping style and picks someday.
I've tried starting my own thread a few times, but unfortunately they often turned out to look like THIS thread, going on and on with both followers and haters whipping up a shitstorm. It ate into my time tremendously, much like this thread is doing tonight. I was supposed to meet someone for dinner 90 minutes ago!

I have to side with MrBator on this one. I really do not understand how the cheating, lying, scamming referees don't infuriate more people. The game is suppose to "naturally" play itself out. There is nothing natural about an outcome that has already been decided for us. How is that okay with some of you? What ever happened to honesty and integrity?

LOL...I hear you brother...I've been spending way too much time on this forum as well. It's all fun though.
And I also hear you in regards to people loving/bashing you. I've been on a red-hot streak the last few weeks and as soon as I lose 2 in a row I'll be hearing it...lol. Some people don't understand this business and how picking 2 out of 3 is excellent.

What I don't understand is why this particular game would be a fix. I believe that you even mentioned in a different thread that the over was one of the most public plays of the week. It was a late, standalone, national TV game and it appeared that everyone was on the over. Could there really have been that much sharp money on the under that would have countered the huge percentages on the over and made it worth fixing the game? I realize its not a conspiracy with the entire city of Las Vegas to fix a game, but generally wouldn't a person taking rather than making bets be the one fixing it? If so, why would they choose this game? Please don't take this as me attacking you or the idea that the game could have been fixed, I am just curious as someone who is a more casual (probably semi-square) gambler.

Yeah, getting that love is a double-edged sword because some of those people will hate you if you don't keep it going in the right direction. But there's a lot of cool people, too.

No moneyline, but I had Golden State +6.5 and Golden State again at halftime +6.5. You know who I took on the moneyline? The Rockets! Dumb bet!
Yea seemed like a good spot for the Rockets, but they looked a step slow tonight. I just hope you bet everything you have on UNC. Sink Las Vegas. It is the easiest bet in the history of gambling.

mr bator....i do pretty well doing some day-trading as well as short-term long term holdings....these 5 companies will at least be 5 times what they are trading at now in one years time....RFMD(has nearly doubled up in month),, MU( has amost tripled since jan 09)....HIMX( another solid stock)...CRYP(solid company involved in online gaming) and last but not least...AMD(semi-conductor company poised to get back in the black.....now is the time if you have extra liquidity laying around to pump into these stocks....i gaurantee you that these companies have bottommed out and will only continue to go higher and higher...these are buy and hold opportunities....well worth investing your hard-earned winnings good luck whatever you decide to do...etrade is a great online brokerage to start out if your a beginner
E-Turd is the worst broker you could possibly use. If you knew anything about trading, you would steer people clear of e-trade and recommend a real broker with A real trading platform like think or swim.

The thing is, DrRosenrosen, we don't know anything. We don't know how this was arranged, or by whom, or on behalf of whom, or how, exactly, a profit was turned by having the referees make this game go over 209. One thing I do feel strongly about is that the public's wagering on this game (which was decidedly towards the over) was no factor in hatching this plan. This was a great game to pick, though, because these two teams had already played two foul-filled games this season. This one should have blended in as simply another, but the poor shooting throughout forced the three refs to call more and more fouls, which wound up looking suspicious and weird, even to casual viewers.
