Bator I'm the first person to agree with you the game is fixed. You were on the wrong side which sucks but there's nothing you can do.
I don't know you personally but from what I've read you do this for a living obviously you win more bets than you lose to do that. It was a terrible loss but move on. You probably won your 8K back tonight. No use worrying about what happen last night you can't change it.
Like I wrote earlier in this thread to you - if everyone had an attitude like yours, the masses would get walked over by the few that are in power. Look back at the last eight years of this once proud nation's history to see what I'm talking about.

mr bator...im with you on that bullshit from last night...i ended up losing 1100 on 1st half over... 550 on over 1st quarter...then after the watching the way the 1st half played out the under 109.5 seemed solid so double up to 3300 to make up for the crap...the pace was well under the total of 109.5 if not for the ridiculous fouls and numerous invisible calls that pushed it way overr...so i can sympathize with you here mr bator...guys that do not play semi large do not understand this that one terribly officiated game can fuck up a whole month's winnings.....got lucky with lakers 2nd half and lakers to make up for the debacle..hopefully you cashed in as well...good luck to you rest of the way...unc -7, unc-6 unc-5 unc-4 looks solid although alot of juice to pay...but villanova is way overmatched..
Damn, sounds like that rigged game last night fucked you up every which way, but I'm glad to hear you recovered the money tonight. And you made a great point about the huge difference that one stolen bet can make to our bottom line.

I am still FURIOUS over this bullshit OVER. If anyone doesn't believe the ref's had everything to do with it...they obviously didn't watch the fucking game. During the last two minutes of the 4th quarter, I almost threw my laptop at my $3,000 flat screen TV. Glad I didn't, but c'mon man...the reality is - IT WAS RIGGED...
Fuck yeah, it was. And those that are brushing it off or denying it altogether are as spinless as they come. Even guys who had the over knew the game was bullshit!

Funny though. The commentators mentioned in the first quarter how these teams foul alot on any given night and love getting to line. Boy were they right about that Thursday night.

Bator, you don't need to prove anything, 50% of the people here agree with you and the other 50% just don't want to believe it.
I was on that over last night and won, but I knew there was something up when the 4th quarter started, I even posted about it.
The one thing I can say is that you must play ALOT of Fixed Over/Unders because I always feel that I am on the winning side, and you are on the other, yet I still agree with fixes, if I win or lose.
I've only complained about two games this season.

I disagree. Why start calling phantom fouls from the start of the game with two teams that are capable of high scoring games? What if it turns out to be unnecessary? For example, what if the Jazz and Nuggets had started out red hot, and pretty much sent this game on its way to the over with terrific shooting? Then the refs wouldn't have had to cheat, or maybe not cheat as much. But with a stilted 45-point first quarter, and a 97-point first half, the treasonous trio of Lewis, Washington, and Robinson knew they had work to do as they discussed the situation in their locker room at halftime. The shooting throughout the game was so bad that they had to overdo it, calling more curious fouls in the second half than they would have liked. And on top of that, the free throw shooting was lousy, too, which precipitated still more fouls, and ultimately my legitimate "FIX!" thread.
You write that they discussed the situation in the lockeroom. That is way out there IMO. One rogue ref like Tim Donapoop cheating is one thing but to say an entire ref team is collaborating seems impossible.
Maybe it was rigged maybe it was not. I just saw the game and saw nothing suspicous. The Jazz foul the most of any team in the league (I think?). They shot horribly but got enough offensive boards to keep it close and draw alot of contact inside. Plus Sloan left Korver on Smith which is the real reason the over hit as he was so overmatched. Refs also called the 4th quarter extremely tight in a close game with alot on the line. Just my take.

I know you may think this is stupid and you can't win betting overs constantly...but yes you can and I've done it consistently over the last 4 years. It's not like I'm playing every game on the board as an over....I'm narrowing down the entire board of games (usually 3-10 a night) and picking the Over most likely to hit...if any. There will always be a game that goes over each night...just gotta find it brother.
robertgould79, I don't doubt that there are guys who can win money by betting on overs. Of course there are, you're one of them. I, however, historically suck when trying to bet overs. I am under 50% lifetime. That's why I hardly bet them anymore. The few I've done lately have all been because I tailed you (and thank you again!).

It's funny Bator....I didn't have a penny on the game and was leaning hard on the Under myself...and I posted about how weird the fouls were and how fast they were coming at around the 3:00 mark in the 4th quarter. I hate to use the word "fix" as I've taken so many bad beats and tried to blame it on this out of frustration...but that game was crazy. The worst part was that half the fouls in the final minutes weren't even contact fouls to the ball handler....they were away from the ball fouls and we couldn't even see what the hell was going on. It was hilarious...the whistle blew every 20 seconds and even the players were like "What the Fuck"....kinda looking around to see who the foul was on.
Just a very weird game all around.
Hey Bator...I see people say you do this for a full-time living. Pretty crazy...how come you don't post plays ever? I see once and awhile you'll mention you're on a side during a game conversation..but rarely post a pre-game pick. I'd be very interested to see your handicapping style and picks someday.

And lastly brother...what the hell are you doing betting 8K on an NBA game. That's just insanity.
It's never made sense to me how any of us can tell each other that we're betting too much when we have no idea what each other's bankrolls are? Eight grand might be a lot but it also might be a little. You never know. As for my bets last night, they were for $4,400 each, one on under 209.5 and the other on the second half under 109.5. I spent the first half kicking myself for not betting enough!

I have to side with MrBator on this one. I really do not understand how the cheating, lying, scamming referees don't infuriate more people. The game is suppose to "naturally" play itself out. There is nothing natural about an outcome that has already been decided for us. How is that okay with some of you? What ever happened to honesty and integrity?

You write that they discussed the situation in the lockeroom. That is way out there IMO. One rogue ref like Tim Donapoop cheating is one thing but to say an entire ref team is collaborating seems impossible.
Why? It's only three guys, all of them probably bitter to some degree that players much younger than they are are making truckloads of money while yelling at them all game long. I'd want a little bigger piece of the pie myself!

Please, that's ridiculous. J. R. Smith only scored 28 points. Not 35, not 40, not 50...........
