We have all just witnessed the greatest and most exciting first round of the NBA playoffs ever. I didn't post any official plays cause i wanted to feel out the teams with small side bets first but I've continued to have a lot of success and wanted to share some picks for anyone who cares to listen.
Before we start, I encourage everyone to read my 3 rules on my old thread.
Now let's all make some money

Had a great NBA regular season hitting 70% of all my picks. All picks are documented and accounted for. You can check them out in my old thread:

Yes, Nets got blown out game 1. Yes, the Heat look like they are ready to steamroll their way to another NBA title. Yes, the Heat are 5-0 SU/ATS in the playoffs so far. But, for at least tonight, the Heat will get all they can handle from the Nets. Game 1 was close in the first half, and then the Heat blew the game open with a great third quarter. Nets just ran out of gas after winning a tough game 7 on the road vs Toronto. They'll have enough gas tonight to stay competitive for all 4 quarters. Not sure if they can win SU, but i have a feeling this game will come down to the last few posessions. Ill be on the Nets getting 8 points (i got them in last night but since the line has moved to 7.5 and i'm just now posting, i'll buy the half point for record keeping purposes)
Nets +8 Risk 1.2 to win 1 units

Money Management/Discipline is one of the hardest things to exercise when gambling, especially on a losing day. Definitely have to work on the psychology of gambling

I agree, it definitely is. But if you are serious about making money in gambling, it's absolutely necessary. Most all of my plays will be 1 unit unless i really really like a play i'll bump it up to 2 units

Glad your back, here is my 2cent, this maybe a bad spot for you to come with your first pick, just saying. Easy play would be nets tonight right? However, this is the playoff and heat flipped the "On" switch especially with this nets team that beat them 4-0 in the regular season. So playing vrs. the nets is enough motivation for heat. I expect same results tonight like game 1. BTW nets has great value back home in game 3 tho! ;)but as always BOL
Thanks for the comments. Yes this is my first posted pick but ive been making wagers on the playoffs starting with the middle of the first round. Was just too lazy to post on Covers. I bet on the Heat in Game 1 and they took care of business. After seeing that showing, I disagree that the Nets are the easy pick, but i believe for this game they are the right pick. Also, motivation should be disregarded in the playoffs. Everyone is motivated to win a championship, there is no reason not to be at this point. I'm not saying it's guaranteed that the Nets cover tonight, I just think they have a good chance to stay within the number. Heat could very well blow them out again and it wouldn't be shocking.

Welcome back LAG. Any thoughts on the second game?
I find it funny that your name is bet-lag when that's what people call me (even though i dont really care for the nickname). But anyway strong lean to the over in San Antonio. And if i had to pick a side it would be Portland with the points but I've experienced first hand how unprofitable it is to bet against Pop & Co. I may not have an official play on the game

70% on nba the whole regular season, wow, you are the king.
I'm only as good as my last play to 75% of the people on this forum which I understand, so right now i'm at the bottom of the totem pole with a 0-0 record

Nets +8 Risk 1.2 to win 1 units
Record 0-1
-1.2 units
Well the Nets gave it 2 good quarters in the first game and 3 good quarters in this game. Couldn't hold on in the 4th. Will they finally play a complete game in Game 3? We'll see. I'm talkin to u Deron Williams
