Im not saying the Raptors repeat if Kawhi stays but they are the favorites next season if he does come back to Toronto in my opinion.. I mean most the team is coming back and although Gasol and Lowry will be 35 and 34 i wouldn't be surprised to see a Raptors strong run with Kawhi..Lets see what happens in Free Agency of course in the near future 
Gasol and Lowry will be getting the load management treatment as well if Kawhi resigns...it will be all about getting the 2 seed at worst and focusing on health come May & June.

Dave....this is one time I agree with your take 100%. Without Kawhi, Toronto has the same odds at a title as Brooklyn or Denver....basically a long shot at 25/1 or worse. If Kawhi stays, I don't see the odds dropping much at all just as you say. Taking on the Kawhi flight risk, plus the season long injury risk seems like bad business at 7/1. The odds of a better in season futures bet are almost a certainty. All that said, and today I am seeing 10/1 out there.

You are fully entitled to your opinion, as is everyone who posted here with the exception of the scripted retards who belong in the zoo where they escaped from...however Gutinst...your assessment that they wouldnt be favorites to win the east with Kawhi and essentially the same team plus Anunoby which provides even more depth and versatility as a two way player, is completely wrong - and essentially is a hater mentality towards a team that just proved everyone wrong.
Are people still in denial that the best overall team won the NBA title this year? The entire league is slowly regressing back to the mean, there is no more super team out there next season with the Warriors all banged up...if ever there was a team to truly back and feel good about, it would be the one with the leagues #1 killer assasin come playoff time.
