My vote is with Kobe...he is no doubt a better shooter, more pure and clutch of a player.  Lebron is sick and ever-improving, and clearly one of the best all-around talents ever, but Kobe is just a  better outside, stretch-the-floor, perimeter shooter, period.

Its KG followed by Kobe. I think Ginobli and James are tied for third if you are going on pure production in games and not sneakers and commercials

Sorry Odom..., KG won't stand a chance since he is flanked by two other superstars. You're right though CP has been amazing this season...
 
LeBron is a great player, I give him tons of praise for his God-gifted abilities, BUT.....
 
Cavaliers 34-26 (against MUCH weaker competition)
 
Lakers 43-18
 
KOBE..... (although all Kobe really cares about is winning the Championship)

Lebron,Kobe and CP3 are all great in there own way. Its hard to say which one is better than the other because they all have there own talents that are unique from each other and all bring different talents to the team there playing for..

Kobe is more clutch? Nope; not this season.

LeBron is a better passer, more efficient scorer, better rebounder, more clutch, a much better leader, close in defense this year, and he has the intangibles.

05-06 was Kobe's year. The only hate on LeBron and why he isn't better is because he wasn't clutch; now at 10.4 ppg in the 4th, its not a question. Kobe shot 3-13 with 7 to's and his team won; you think Cavs could beat anyone with that bad of a performance from LeBron? They were 0-6 without him; with him they're 33-20 beating teams like Boston, Detroit, Dallas, Utah, Spurs, and ummm the LAKERS. Remember, the shot in Kobe's eye?

You can't go 3-13 and have your team win by 15; thats not MVP.

How are you going to disagree with this though?? It's fact. Only debatable point is defense, and statistically, LeBron has held his guarded man to worse stats compared to their average than Kobe has this year.

Don't get me wrong; LeBron and Kobe are on a different level from everyone else in the league in terms of skill level; but LeBron is a better player this year; slightly but albeit better.

First off, the things you listed are OPINIONS......

And, Kobe faces MUCH stiffer competition overall in the West.

LeBron APPEARS to be better in your eyes because he is basically a one man show where on the other side of the things Kobe has help this season.

i hate ppl i liek the sixers and lebron is not better then kobe u have got to be kidding me my god find how many game winning shots lebron has made please its like 2 for 40 jesus he plays in the east and the freaking sixers r in the playoffs in the east not saying much for getting a team to the playoffs kobe by far the best player in the league he is the all around player this is such a gay topic does not to be discussed cuz kobe is the best player

Not opinions; to state he is a better passer on 5 less possesions per game isn't an opinion; it's a fact. To state he's a more efficient offensive player at more ppg and better fg is not an opinion; thats fact. Want me to continue?

And don't give me that shit about better conferences; Cavs have beaten Spurs, Dallas, Lakers TWICE, Utah, Boston, Detroit;

And what's even more pathetic is the fact that despite the weaker conference, his team is still 0-6 without him. Check his bad games; anytime he has a poor shooting night or a bad game; his team loses. 3-13 7 to's for Kobe; it's all good. phil Jackson and Gasol come to the rescue and you win by 15.

We're talking about this year; not career. It's not fair to assess career because Kobe has been in the league 2.5 x longer than LeBron. This single season though; LeBron is performing better individually than Kobe - this isn't debatable.

Not to mention LeBron has been the most clutch this year...another issue that isn't debatable. I guess you guys are still in denial about how he dropped 41 points being D'd up by Kobe and hitting the game winner in his face. Or was it the time before where he kept kobe to 0-3 shooting including missing the game winner while LeBron was on him...Stop being delusional

if lebron is in mvp talks for getting his team to the playsoffs in the east i want igudola in the talks cuz he did the same thing in that shit hole of a conference igudola has more game winners then mr clutch lebron who has 3 in his career
