13 and 11 is great, at over 50% fg. Yup thats good. Cavs had Hughes who was shooting 37% and Z who shoots less than 50%, one of the worst Fg's from a center.

Malone and Barkley are better than Duncan. I'm not going to argue this because it's based on opinions here; but they were both better than him. I have him at 4th best PF; I rank Garnett above him too.

I have to be honest with you guys.  In the beginning I thought Kobe was overrated this entire time, but watching him play this year.  Man this is is good. Hands down the best ALL around player.  If u need a point u can rely on him, if u need an assists u can rely on him, if u need a defensive stop u can rely on him, if u need him to out jump and grab the rebound against 7 footers u can rely on him.  He is the man.

LeBron is good and his size is what makes him unique.  Kind of like Magic back in the day.  The only thing about Lebron i noticed is he usually turns it up in the 4th quarter. Im not saying that is bad but if he was to play all 4 quarters consisitently then he would get my vote.

But how can u argue with both.  both are deserving

Kobe brings it every game.  He is the complete player both offensively and defensively.  I love the fact he can burn you on offense and then shut down the opposing teams' best player.

Thats where LeBron needs to improve.  The last time they played each other Kobe stuck LeBron and Snow got abused by Kobe.



LeBron doesn't bring it every game? Most clutch player in the league with by far the most impressive stat line.

Kobe stuck LeBron? LeBron hit a game winner in his face and kept Kobe to 0-3 including missing the game winner the game before that. Lol, lakers haven't beaten Cavs now in 3 straight years.

Gasol was the only thing on the Grizz. This was before Mike Miller was a stud and came off bench. They made playoffs with Gasol. He was a 20 10 player with great fundamentals and a great passing game. He's a premier big man in the league.

And calling out bynum? He was HATING on him. His plan wasn't "oh im going to get him mad so he plays better"...it was to really try to send him out for Jkidd. Farmar was a premier guard in college at UCLA; and is playing great as well; with no credit given to Kobe. 

LeBron is MVP because his team can't win a single game without him; but with him, they are 16-12 vs the West, and he single handedly wins games for the team.

You are going to take it away that LeBron turns it up in the 4th and not all game? Kobe had what, 4 or 7 at half yesterday? And was 3-10 ft's until the 4th against Dallas? LeBron plays hard every night, and without him, they are the worst team in the league. Plain and simple.

Come on guys, we all know Odom is better than Kobe, Michael Vick will win a SUper Bowl before Peyton Manning, and laugh at you all who thinks Gasol is an upgrade over Kwame Brown.

I know; because LeBron can't do everything. This shitty cavs team though beat your lakers twice; with LeBron outplaying Kobe by a huge margin. At least provide an argument and not be so immature. I get the feeling you were in deperession after both Cavs/Lakers games.

I'm surprised there is so much debate. I see this debate on ESPN all the time. Kobe is clearly the winner. He's a superstar player and the best player on the best team. This is a total slam dunk. I wish 5dimes would offer me a line so I could slam the shit out of this.

1)Lebron -> leading league in scoring
 
2)Kobe -> raw talent, the best in the game
 
3)KG -> took them from lottery to finals contender
 
4)Ginobili -> been the X factor on the best team in the league
 
5)Baron Davis -> where would GS be without Baron? this guy needs more love!
 
- if MVP is whos most valuable to the team then is my order, dont believe in hype but actual preformace.

you have no argument for Lebron to be MVP, if it was all about numbers Kobe would have 3-4 mvps by now......

I already said; Cavs 0-6 without him, even in a shitty conferece. He is the most important player to his team...I've given so many reasons; more clutch, and better in almost all aspects of the game. Most effiicient the player has seen this season since MJ

Come on buddy.....you're getting too heated about this and showing your level of maturity. 

You just made my point that Kobe is a leader and makes his team better by calling the Cavs crap.  LeBron will get there someday.  Right now LeBron is where Kobe was after Shaq left........they all know he is the main option and when he has the ball they just stop and watch. 

I never said that LeBron didn't 'bring it' in every game he plays.  You assumed it because I mentioned that Kobe did.  It would be ignorant for any sports fan to think that LeBron, CP3 and KG didn't leave everything they had out on the court. 

Besides Pippen, the honorable Michael Jordan, had crap around him but he showed his leadership by helping to make those championship teams better.  eg. He kept the Worm in check, Paxson made a career shooting 3's from AJ's dribble penetration.  The emergence of Pippen.

Same elements are here w/ this Laker team.  Its better because of Kobe.  Don't forget that the Lakers were on this winning path before Bynum's injury and the Gasol trade.

Cavs are crap; they are a hopeless team; or used to be with the old roster, and LeBron still beat elite teams, and was 4th in the East. In plain terms he is the most valuable player. 

As for pre-gasol...they DID NOT go 13-2 or w.e run they are on right now; you should know. When did you ever see the spread 15 almost every game they played?

1. Kobe shoots less shots per game than lebron ...hard to believe but true...therefore will probably score less.
2. Kobe shoots less freethrows than lebron and makes more....thats valuable.
3. Kobe shoots less threes and makes slightly more.
4. Kobe plays less minutes therefore his stats will be slightly less.
5. Kobe Bryant spreads the floor because the opposing team is afraid of his shot....drawing multiple double teams on the perimeter leaving easy shots from behind the arc for some....and leaving easy dump off's to pau or Bynum....
6. Oh yeah! and Kobe takes it on him personally to guard the teams best opposing guard or forward.....draining his energy.
7. He guards the best talent...and uses soooo much more energy...guarding the likes of Manu, McGrady, Iverson/Melo, Deron, Paul, Baron, Roy, While Lebron guards people such as Richard Jefferson/VC, Iguodala, and Turkoglu...that must be tough on him......
8. If Kobe didnt win when he was hitting 81 and scoring 40 for a month with a decent record what makes u think lebron will win with his shitty team...sorry...ITS ALL KOBE THIS YEAR...
