I agree with you 100%, Kobe couldn't get it done w/out Shaq, now he has a supporting cast and everyone says he is MVP. What does MVP stand for, last time i checked it was most valuable player to THEIR team. How is Lebron not the most valuable to his team??? Without him they win 15 games, maybe. Without Kobe i think Gasol, Odom, Bynum(when he comes back), Fisher, Farmar can get it done & sill contend.

It is obvious that Cleveland is 0-6 w/o Lebron this year and if this guy was not on the team they would have the worst record in the league period. He means way more to his team than any other player in the NBA. KG not even close with the others in Boston and they still win w/o him. CP3 great great point guard but playing in New Orleans will never get him close (Top 5 maybe) and with everyone on Nash's nuts he would not get it. Remember Kobe has no hardware it was Shaq's hardware guys. We are not comparing old stats the MVP goes to the best player in the league. There stats are somewhat the same but I am taking the guy that means 10 times more to his team. Lakers would still be .500 if not better w/o Kobe. LeBron gets the MVP hands down. here's the thing with this argument , before anything i'll look at supporting cast and hands down kobe has the advantage there , we all know that kobe can practically score at will and is clutch in the late stages of the game , lebron is slowly starting to learn exactly how to dominate a 4th quarter it's starting to get scary , the problem i see with kobe is yes he try's and at times does very nicely getting his opponents into the flow of the game , but sometimes he makes it a priority to score himself and zones his teammates out and takes them pretty much out of the game cuz by the time there needed it's way to late to get into any kind of rhythm , lebron on the other hand almost always makes it a must he get's his teammates in the game even if he does'nt much at all for a whole first half , and takes over in the 2nd half with his guys already being loose , and ya kobe is sharing the rock now , but we all know come playoff time he just can't do that the same way he is now , he's gotta be the man then , now as far as mvp i think kobe gets that this year because of the success of his team , lebron's quitely getting it done and once again it's going to be difficult for any team in the east to beat cleveland , it's scary to think how it would be if lebron had kobe's supporting cast , i think kobe is a better scorer and better defensive player but that's it , lebron's game is all around thight and starting to get better and better , even though he's been in the league a while he's still pretty much a pup in this league looking at his age , and it's pretty amazing what he's doing and done so far , not even the greatest of all micheal jordan had success and leadership like this so quick , lebron pretty much it seemed came in the league and was expected to win and bring cleveland up immeadietlly , and he practically has where as it took jordan several years, kobe had early success of course that laker team was insane , now let's look at attitude yes kobe wants to win and is starting to say the right things , but for me he is a lil cry baby whinner and it the end it rubs off on your teammates when your the leader , and until he does it i don't know if kobe can win a ring without shaq , lebron is starting to look like more of a man at much younger age , which will be scary when he trully is a man , he is still a kid and will get much better , kobe is what he is right now , only see him going down after some time not up , so fine give kobe the mvp this year , he's never won it , whatever , but i have a feeling lebron will have many to come.
