I mean you two are so weird you're arguing that the 2nd best player in the league joining the best team in the league didn't create less parity in the league. Weird, but I guess you gotta argue with me about something.

yep,i got no interest in any of them cept the OG ones-empire strikes back,return of the jedi and the first one.....yep,silver leg on the bottom half but its real hard to tell,ya know?being that you dont have full body shots alot of the time and also its a shiny,reflective surface and in desert scenes its impossible to tell between silver and gold.

hey,little fella..ever consider the possibility that nobody is defending anybody else and its just the fact that,once again,YOURE WRONG!!!and being that youre dumb you cant see it for yourself so it just so happens that others have to point it out to you in numbers...if stump-town stu was writing some dumb shyte about there ever being real parity in the league then i would 100% disagree with him..can bet your life on it.
if you keep coming up with stupid shi.t then best believe folk will oppose it...maybe the problem isnt everybody else.it might just be you.?

All I said was parity was forming in the league. It's you who took that and went on one of your weird ass rants again. You take some of the most basic comments and takes and just go off like a serious weirdo.

I never said that. I said there wasn't parity to begin with. History supports this. You're like "parity was forming and KD ruined it." I just said you're being dramatic. That if one guy can ruin the league, then it was already ruined. And that a grown man has the right to live and work whereva he pleases. A free agent athlete who has played out his rookie contract, etc, can go whereva he pleases. And nobody wants to live and work in Oklahoma City. Ever been to Oklahoma City? I have. That shit is pretty garby. You say there was parity forming even though the league had been predicated on dynasties all the way up until that point. What parity. Was Lebron going every year parity? Did you want KD to stay in garbage ass OKC to make you happy. Go to garbage ass Salt Lake City? San Antonio? Like I said, coming to the Warriors was about more than basketball. Just like going to Brooklyn. What did you want him to do?

Lebron forms a super team, goes to 4 straight. Shit starts to go downhill, he bolts, tries to form another super team, goes to 4 straight. Parity was forming though. Was Shaq, one of the greatest centers of all time, drafted by the Lakers? Nobody cries or complains about any of this. The Warriors after decades of mostly horrendous, every now and then mediocre play, wins a title with a drafted core. They then put one magical season together where they ultimately lose. They sign one big free agent and they ruined basketball. Harrison Barnes was up for contract. They weren't resigning him. They needed a forward. They landed KD. What would you have had happen? What would have got your stamp of approval? Warriors resign Barnes even though he disappeared on them? KD stay in OKC even though he was unhappy in the city and the organization? What did you want to happen?

cool story...but what possible indication was there in history that any form of parity would be sustained for more than about 3 minutes??if it wasnt KD it woulda been someone else or he would have gone to another pretty stacked team.thats the way it is,good players wanna play with other good players..funny that.
and what parity was gonna exist anyway??the cavs and warriors were gonna be dominant forces even if KD had stayed put.

I swear, fanboys forget that these are just dudes. Grown ass men. And this is their job. And there are a fuck ton of factors a man considers when choosing where to work.

You don't need to argue everything. He had plenty of options. Literally any team in the NBA but the Warriors or Cavs, lol. He could have joined beal and wall in his home town, could have built a team in the eastern conference. But to argue that he didn't make the choice that eliminated pretty much any serious competition is just ridiculous. That's a melossing argument. One can be a fan of the Warriors and Durant and still understand his decision basically made one team way better than the rest of the league and that if he chose another option there would have been more competition in the league. Also, in order to ever compete with them stars would just have to form even more super teams. They were fun to watch though, I'll give you that. The most skilled offense I've ever seen in my life. Just wasn't very competitive.

There was no parity forming. Even if KD stays in OKC, that's not parity. That's a possible rivalry in the western conference. It could have been a good rivalry but for KD it meant staying somewhere he clearly hadn't been happy for quite sometime. In the east, a Lebron led team went to the finals in 8 STRAIGHT SEASONS!!! Where was this parity on the horizon that KD ruined? There's parity now though. So what are you complaining about?

@ThrowDemDarts
Yes, it made one team way better but i'll tell you, i'm 39 and have been a huge sports man my entire life. In most seasons, there are one or two teams that are way better than everyone else. The Celtics and Lakers had several stretches, across several era, of being better than everyone else. The Pistons. The Jordan Bulls. Jordan retires, the same team goes back to back. Clyde the Glide joins Hakeem the Dream. The Spurs. The game has always been like this but no, KD ruined this non existent parity. Go home to DC and form a super team in Washington that's parity? That makes a lot of sense. Leave OKC to go play in Utah or San Antonio because that's where a young, rich, single black dude wants to live more than half the year. Go to the Clippers. Form a super team. Guys talk about a 73 win season like it equals a championship. It doesn't. They lost. They weren't resigning Harrison Barnes. So here you have a player who needs a team and a team that needs a forward but they have to avoid each other to make fan boys happy. This way of thinking is fucking insane. The Nets brought in 3 future HOFers. If two aren't injured, and if they win it all, did they ruin basketball? Keep it real.

There was plenty of parity forming. 6 teams in the west... had Cavs/Boston/Toronto in the East. That's 9 teams, and could have been a 10th if KD went to another team in the East or West. His move took it from 9 pretty fun and competitive teams (competitive does not mean championship teams) to pretty much 1 team. That western conference was fun. Houston was forming, okc, lob city was there, the spurs were still ending their run. You're just trying to justify KD's soft move to the warriors. The 7 games series between the Warriors and OKC then them having to play a 7 game series against the Cavs were some of the most entertaining basketball games I've ever watched. The best players in the NBA duking it out. Then KD made his move and eliminated all that. Soft move by KD. But at least melossing agrees with you. I'd take great comfort in that.

Three teams in the east even though the same dude went to the finals 8 straight years. 6 teams in the west? Denver was not quite ready. They arrived at the time they would have regardless of what KD would have did. Portland was never beating the Warriors, regardless of what KD did. If he goes to the Clippers, now that's a super team but that's ok with you? Goes to the Spurs, another small city, and adds to an already existent dynasty. Teams up with the Klaw. That's ok with you? Go to Salt Lake City? Seriously? Stay in OKC, where he clearly wasn't happy. His options in the west were whack cities or forming super teams somewhere else. He goes to Houston, bow they're better than everyone else and wins every year. So you're happy with him teaming up with other super stars but just not on the Warriors? You say he had a ton of options but really his options were going to another boring city or forming a super team somewhere else. He had a handful of options in the east that would have avoided this. Chicago and Miami come to mind but then again, I go back to my original point. A lot of factors go into where a man decides to work and it his his prerogative. It wasn't a coincidence he went to the Bay. It wasn't a coincidence he went to New York. He's a grown man and it's his business. That so many dudes were butthurt. That they are still butthurt, is fucking comical.

So Lebron goes to Cleveland to join an emerging Kyrie, has them bring in Kevin Love and instantly goes to two straight finals, splitting, but he didn't ruin basketball. Do you think the Warriors were gonna run it back and duke it out with that Cavs team after not resigning Harrison Barnes and not bringing in KD? Do they duke it out or does Lebron repeat? Maybe 3-peat. What would you have had happen. Where does KD go? Stay in OKC? Be unhappy to make fanboys happy? Where? You keep saying there were so many places. Go home, which maybe he didn't want to do, but that forms a super team. They probably win a couple straight. Go to Houston. They would probably have 3-peated, easily. None of this is parity. Go to the Clippers. CP3, Deandre Jordan when he could still contribute. Blake Griffin. And Durant. Yep, that's parity. The Warriors, after losing in the finals, and not resigning Barnes, are gonna duke it out with that. They probably win 2 or 3 straight. If he stays in OKC, from a basketball standpoint, for the fans, that'a the best move but he wasn't happy there. Who would be? I guess going to Portland would've been a move but like I said, his move had to do with more than basketball. That's his god given right and prerogative. The pursuit of happiness. KD was looking for something more than rings. I pray to god he has found it in New York. That grown as men get so butthurt over this shit is beyond me. "He ruined basketball!" Like I said, if one guy, even a guy like KD, even a guy like Lebron in his prime, if a one guy can "ruin" basketball, it was already ruined. Guys hated Lebron for going to Miami and teaming with Bosh and Wade but nobody said he ruined basketball. And they didn't win as many as guys expected. And we got to see Dirk get his ring in one of those seasons. One guy doesn't ruin a sport. That's drama queen shit.

boston and toronto??bahaha..the east was lebrons bi.tch the entire time he played there..thats literally your own argument any time you wanna attack lebron and now its the opposite and "the east was actually even and competitive"??...cleveland were fuccing toying with that conference every year he was there on his cleveland return..shi.t,even when kyrie left he still got the cavs through to the finals.
and the warriors won 73 fuccing games and you think that the west was challenging for them??sure,other teams could give them a decent series but the warriors were going to continue being the over-whelming favourite for the following few seasons..remember that even if durant hadnt gone there the warriors STILL had options to re-tool in another way by picking up some other lesser star or key role player/s.and that would have been enough to be the best.just not a ridiculous super-duper unbeatable team.
it was cavs/warriors/maybe okc and then DAYLIGHT.there was no cluster of teams vying for supremacy.....this fuccin parity that you are imagining being on the horizon is a bit like steph currys MVP award that he picked up in his second year in the league....ie.YOURE THE ONLY FUGGIN WEIRDO ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET THAT THINKS ITS A REAL THING THAT HAPPENED.

@melossinglet
Their series against OKC was one of the more enjoyable series I've seen. Down 3-1, KD and Russell vs Steph and Klay. Then after the amazing comeback Steph and Klay vs Lebron and Kyrie. I mean, that's enjoyable basketball. Just because lob city wasn't good enough to beat the Warriors in a 7 game series doesn't mean they weren't competitive. I mean that year was just fun. Warriors having to compete with Harden and the Rockets, Dame and CJ, KD and Russ, then Lebron and Kyrie. I mean that was a fun time even if Houston wasn't good enough to beat the Warriors in a 7 game series.
You arguing that the league didn't have more parity before KD joined the best team in the league is a crazy argument. Not as crazy as you defending a guy posting a whack record based on how many wins and losses he claimed, lol. You're a weird ass dude.

@StumpTownStu
There was much more parity with KD on OKC. Sports parity is just about spreading out talent. Even if one or two teams are better than the rest, when the talent is spread out you get much more entertaining basketball. Harden and the Rockets, Dame and CJ in portland, lob city, utah, denver growing, russ and KD in OKC, the Warriors, Boston, Toronto, Lebron and the Cavs, Beal and Wall in Washington. It was great. And if KD went to one of those teams or went to another team, that would have been a fun league. But, nope, KD had to go to the best team in the league and ruin it all. What could have been years of competitive and enjoyable basketball, just turned in to one team running over everyone.
It's alright to accept the fact KD caused less parity in the NBA by joining the best team. I mean, that should be simple to understand and accept. You and Melossing once again have the same thought process. Saying things like there was more parity does not mean there was 100% parity and any team in the league could have won the championship, lol. Just means talent was more spread out and there was more competitive basketball. But once again, you and your boy melossing take simple ass statements and go in to whack job rants about it.

Go back to what you originally said. Go back to my response. You didn't simply say he created less parity, you said he destroyed the NBA. I said you were being dramatic, as fanboys tend to be, and that if one man, even a player of KD's level, if one man can destroy the NBA, then it's already destroyed. I said a grown man should have the option to live and work where he pleases, and only in sports do man-children cry about this shit. A guy should not have to remain in a garbage city/state and work for a garbage company to make you happy. You say he had every other team besides the Warriors and Cavs to go to but several of those teams would have become super teams and destroyed your "parity" had KD joined. Several other teams are in boring cities, or are complete failures of organizations. So he really didn't have 30 teams to go to. He had a handful. He chose where he wanted to be. He made a decision bigger than just a game. I love basketball. I love sports. They are a huge business in many aspects but at their root, they're just games. And the way grown ass men get all bent out of shape and butthurt over the machinations of said game is beyond comical. My point is bigger than basketball. I think every man, every person is afforded the right to pursue happiness. KD is a guy who seems to have struggled in that pursuit. I thought he could be happy in the Bay. He probably would have been if not for media talking heads and the grown ass men that echo their ridiculous takes.

Whack job rants? You're the one who said KD "destroyed the NBA". I just said you were being dramatic. You were. Look it up. I'm not a whack job, just a realist. And an adult. I don't make dramatic ass whiny statements about a game. I keep it moving. I think Lebron hopping around teams the way he has is kinda horseshit. I'm nor ranting about it because he's a grown ass man and it's his prerogative. What he eats doesn't make me shit.

You spent the last couple pages with your weird little boyfriend melossing arguing over "there was parity forming" in the NBA, lol. And I think KD did destroy the NBA. There was a potential for years of rivalries, competitive basketball, more parity, enjoyable series, etc. His choice to not compete but instead join the best team in the league destroyed that. Not every comment has to be taken so literal. You can use that brain of yours and apply a little context. And KD could have joined any team but the Cavs or Warriors and it would have been fine. No team he would have joined other than the Cavs and Warriors would have created the disparity he created by making the softest move in sports history and joining the warriors. Things were looking up for the NBA before his move.

@ThrowDemDarts
So you're saying if KD joined CP3, Blake, and Deandre Jordan, and the Warriors don't resign Harrison Barnes, that wouldn't create a disadvantage to the rest of the West? If he joins the Klaw in San Antonio, the Warriors don't resign Barnes, that doesn't create a disadvantage in the West. If he joins Harden, with the role players they had, that doesn't create a disadvantage in the West? You're telling me all any of those teams wouldn't run back to back just like the Warriors did? Yes or no?

Or are you saying you wanted him to stay in OKC, be unhappy, just to fulfill your little boy fantasy match up? It would've been good for the game, right? What's the point in having free agency than, right?
