well well, Foster & Callahan for game 6. These are 2 of the biggest crooks in the NBA yet again reffing a vital game in an Indiana/Miami series. These 2 also ref'd last years Indy/Miami conference finals where Heat had 38 FT's to Pacers 20 Ft's. They gave 6 fouls on George & 5 on Hibbert. Foster also ref'd the 2012 semis game 6 wich Miami won.
refs today are 24-41ats favor of the road team Home Team ATS refs are 93-124-7 Home Team W/L refs are120-104
Stats could be a distraction to the agenda tonight. I am very worried that it seems entire Covers is on Miami today & then they send in refs who favor the road team.......But from what i saw last game wich was a must win for the Pacers, Indiana could hardly take advantage of Lebron on the bench and all looked unmotivated and scared, how could they possibly win this game when we all know Lebron may have ZERO foul calls called on him today. No way they put him in foul troubles for 2 games in a row. He is going to come out w/ ferocity, especially at home........ ..........Furthermore from the relentless fouls i saw them give Pacers in game 4 i just see that is a pivotal game in this series. If they really wanted this to go 7 series they would have allowed Pacers to even up the series but it was clear they did not want Pacers to win that game. Pacers 17 FT's to Miami's 38 Had they won that this would have had a chance to go 7 games. I really think they did not want this going back to Indiana for a game 7. If Pacers pushed this to a game 7 it would give them extreme confidence and have a great chance to defeat Miami if the team is clicking and Hibbert has a good game. I think too much work for the league and refs to try and counteract.

2013/2014 NBA Eastern Conference Championship Winner:
Miami Heat Gigantic
MIA -5.5 BIG MIA -6.5 BIG MIA -8
Super Line & Total Double:
MIA -2.5 & OVER 177.5
I see this one going like game 4. Miami w/ a double digit win & refs hammering Indiana w/ fouls in the 2nd half, especially the 4Q so Pacers have no chance of any runs for a come back...........
...........Either that or Foster & Callahan make a dogs breakfast out of this & have Pacers winning. Covering perhaps but winning it??? No - this is something i am confident about! still very nervous though.

IND 8 FT - MIA 3 FT IND 4 PF - MIA 6 PF
Wasn't too focused on the refs today. I think because i didn't have to sweat out the game w/ Miami dominating most of the game i didn't have to watch what the refs were doing. But from what i saw refs were ok. Few favoring calls in the 3Q but apart form that i think Miami would have won this regardless of any ref manipulations. Had so much money on Miami today. Another MASSIVE pay out for me here. Very happy. But plenty more work to do!

Indiana Pacers vs Miami Heat - Correct Series Score:
Before moving onto the Spurs/Thunder series let me just say that people have been saying how they aren't the same team as the one we saw in the last two playoffs and they could possibly be weaker etc. etc. but now after taking the east talk is now that they are very dominant and even better than last season etc. etc........
........With that said let's have a look at Miami's opponents in the playoffs. In the 1st round they had the Bobcats lol - wich they swept. Round 2 they had a Lopezless BK squad who hardly beat Toronto & beat them in 5. Then in the Conference Finals they played a very soft, not very confident & inconsistent Indiana team who could hardly defeat the Hawks who took them to 7 games, had trouble w/ Washington team that took them to 6. Yet Miami beat this soft Pacers squad in 6 games. Well really 5 had refs not messed w/ Lebron in game 5 and did not care about extending series.........
..........Furthermore their only real rival is the Chicago Bulls. But w/ Rose out Bulls have no chance. So not only have they been lucky to not have to face a Bulls team who hate them even more than Pacers do but they face weak squads - one missing their 2nd best scorer and center, one team who made their playoffs debut and another team that seemed to have lost their balls in the 2nd half of the season and been horribly inconsistent in the playoffs. Obviously Indiana could not handle the pressures of being a top team and they folded under it.
Lebron stated after eliminating Pacers today how of course he wants to celebrate because it's a big accomplishment......well.........was it really? I don't think they've been tested at all. And now they look like the mighty Miami Heat after defeating a soft Pacers squad!?!?!?
Not to say they have no shot in winning the Championship but amost cruising to the NBA finals may be a factor. Who ever makes it out of the West has had to battle & work hard for it. Both the Spurs & OKC have had to battle to make the Conference Finals. OKC had to face a very tough Memphis & Clippers squad, while the Spurs had to face a tough Dallas squad and also a team in the Blazers who could have been very dangerous but handedly beat them in 5 - regardless of that they are facing a very tough Thunder squad who will most likely take them to 7 games.
Although Miami will be better rested the team to come out of the West will be far more hungrier. Obviously a 3pete is on the Heats minds to accomplish but OKC are still looking for their first title and Spurs aging vets want one last one before retiring after being on top of the league for so many years and failing every year...not to mention the heart breaking loss just last season.
So it will be interesting come the Finals. I'll just say though if indeed the league wants the Spurs to advance then they will have to win this 6th game so they can get the rest they need especially for Duncan, Parker & Manu. They can't have them battling OKC in 2 more games while Miami has all that rest. So saying that if OKC wins this next game will they win the West? will be something i'll have to look into.
rant over.....

here's what i wrote from another thread i'd like to keep here for future reference:
For some reason i feel the league wants Spurs to advance to give these
aging vets one last chance for a Championship before they retire - and
what a better way than in a revenge game w/ the mighty Heat squad and
spoil their 3pete attempt. Spurs has been on top for so long and been
the leagues most consistent, relentless and most loyal bunch of
players/coach that i think a reward is in order. I think that was
supposed to happen last season until Allen spoiled that plan. Thunder
are still young & have plenty more years to battle but Spurs are
pretty much done if they don't get it this season. They can't continue to keep doing the same thing year in and year out w/ the same result. Spurs will be crushed if they not only not make it to the finals but if they lose also in the finals vs the same team.

I think the league is kinda in clean up mode now that Stern has retired and after the Tim Donaghy, bad officiating, Heat collusion, lottery fixing, Sterling issues etc. etc. they'd like a classy organisation like the Spurs who brings alot of integrity to the league & sets a great example on not only the way the game is supposed to be played but displaying an immense amount of loyalty setting a great standard to make the league look legit & fix it's reputation.
sounds abit far fetched but just something i'll put out there.

an interesting pointer from a reply on nba.com article:
"Sure, the spurs would like to avoid game 7. But there is only so much
that is in their hands. The refs want a game 7 with the MVP. They don’t
want the MVP (who has captured a lot of hearts with his good acceptance
speech) to go away in game 6."
I never put that into account.
