Need some advice on Lakers/Magic sunday game

Question

Whats up fellas?  I use a chase system buying 3 points and will have the lakers at &#x2B;5..Its the last bet in my chase therefore i have ALOT of money on it and am kinda nervous about it..The magic are hot right now while the lakers are playing somewhat lousy by their standards the last couple games..I do think itll be a playoff atmosphere therefore im hoping itll be close..Just watching them the last 2 games Ron Artest CANT shoot and it seems like its all kobe which may not be enough..what do you guys think? Would you take lakers &#x2B;5?

lakers with the points should be good, thinking this game is gonna come down to the last couple possessions, and i seriously think that the NBA is giving KOBE as many last minute buzzer beaters they can just to see how many he can hit .. just a conspiracy we will see what happens

This game is a tough one to Cap. I honestly am a die hard magic fan.. Season Ticker holder, and I never take the opposite side ever. However I am on Vacation sold my Lakers ticket, and I am waiting to see the line Movement before game time. If it's still Magic -2.5 or more I am going to lean Lakers.. if it's Magic -1 before tipoff I am probably taking Magic.. I think this one comes down to the wire.. and should be a good game. Magic can beat anybody as long as they are hot from the 3-point line. Howard will be amped up for this game, but sometimes he fails to show up or gets in Foul Trouble early..

I like Lakers +3. +5 is a damn good bet. Lakers just recently lost to the Heat and the Bobcats. Let's not forget it's the Lakers. Even though they've lost back to back - they still have the most talent/deepest team in the league. With the seasons end around the corner - the lakers weren't focused on beating the bobcats/heat. Butttt - guess what the Lakers will be ready tomorrow when they play the Magic. Let's not forget the Lakers beat them handily earlier this season - and took the last 2 games from ORL in ORL in the finals last year. The laker +3 is a gift - +5 is free $$ - I bet they win outright.

I&#x27;m expecting another Fakers loss tomorrow followed by 10,000 stories, on a slow Monday news day, entitled "What&#x27;s wrong with the Lakers".  After this, the Fakers will proceed to go on an absolute tear and in a couple weeks this three-game losing streak will all be long forgotten as talk will shift back to their quest to win back-to-back titles.

To be honest, I fully expect the Lakers to come ready to play tomorrow afternoon.  I&#x27;m fairly certain they will finally ratchet up the intensity and play much more inspired ball.  But even if they do all that, I still don&#x27;t think it will be good enough.  The truth is the Lakers aren&#x27;t all their cracked up to be and they are quietly extremely vulnerable right now.  Just like all the other leading contenders in the NBA, including they Magic, they have weaknesses.  And right now the Lakers most glaring weakness, aside from the archaic Derek Fisher, is their bench, or lack thereof.  With the exception of Lamar Odom, it&#x27;s a huge liability.  I know people will think I&#x27;m crazy for saying this, but missing Luke Walton is really hurting them because he was the glue guy that solidified their second unit and brought everything together.The Lakers alibi for their uninspired play is always, "oh yeah we didn&#x27;t care about that game, we could have won if we wanted to.  We play when we feel like it blah blah blah."  This arrogance on their part gives people the impression that they have this imaginary switch they can turn on and off whenever they want.  It&#x27;s like they can deliver this heroic/dominating effort on a whim.  That&#x27;s simply not the case.  I&#x27;ve been watching this team quite closely as of late and I&#x27;m not very impressed by what I see.  They&#x27;ve been playing a lot of close games and in many instances they&#x27;ve struggled mightily on the road and barely manage to scrape by, if at all.  The Lakers could theoretically "bring it" tomorrow and still manage to lose rather easily.

Can the Lakers lose three straight games in a row? The Lakers are clearly in a mini-funk, and their bench players just do not play as well on the road. Compound that with the way that the Magic are playing, the edge must be given to the Magic at home in this game. I do feel it will be close, but I think the Lakers have a better chance to win only if the Magic shoot poorly from the three-point line.

On another note, I feel that the game will have more defensive intensity than usual and the total score will be U194.

I&#x27;m reading that Kobe gave his teammates a little pep talk yesterday in an attempt to light a fire under them.  Whatever, they still all secretly hate him.  Expect Kobe to try and do it all by himself tomorrow as he tries to steady this rocky Laker ship.  When things get dicey he will always revert back to his ball-hogging ways because he will never truly trust others.  And why would he?  But people think it&#x27;s a good thing when he starts going 1-on-1, refuses to pass and ends up shooting a bunch of tough, contested jump-shots.  Well it&#x27;s not because it completely alienates his teammates and they start to stand around and watch.

The lack of motivation excuse is such a cop-out.  I bet the Lakers&#xD;&#xA;couldn&#x27;t beat the Bobcats at home even if they tried.  Instead of&#xD;&#xA;admitting they just ain&#x27;t that great though, people coddle them and say&#xD;&#xA;they&#x27;re simply unmotivated, bored, going through a malaise, etc.  It&#x27;s&#xD;&#xA;all total bullshit.  In some of these games they&#x27;ve been trying and it&#xD;&#xA;hasn&#x27;t been good enough and they&#x27;ve lost as a result.

does anyone remember what the line was for that Cle/Orl game couple weeks ago on Sunday?

I think it was around the line was around 2.5. Anyway, I find it interesting if the line does not move up higher than that Cle/Orl game since Cle was doing very well prior to that game and LA has been stinking up the join recently.

The Magic are 7-1 at home this season when playing a team that beat them in their previous matchup from earlier in the season.  The only loss was that shocking 92-91 dump against the Wizards when Orlando raced out to a 28-7 lead in the first quarter.  Unfortunately, they mentally checked out of that game soon after.  I don&#x27;t think that&#x27;s going to happen today.
