I'm doing 2 units under...also throwing a bit on Pacers to win 2h at +290. Cavs got off to a great start, but Pacers adjusted and have slowed them down.

that is the third loss in just a couple of games whit the oh-system right? -9 units there, not much profit so far
Correct. In the San Antonio and Cleveland games there were just some 3-5 minute runs of point spurts that went over the total. This Pacers team is developing and so should the betting trends. I'll be looking at the situations how the point totals go over and under and see if we can apply them the rest of the year. The NBA is such a long, grinding season it can be difficult to think long term when there's a bad night, but the OH system has worked in 14 of the teams 17 games.
I watched most of the Cavs game last night, and the Cavs shot 11 less shots than the Pacers, hit the same amount of 3's and same amount of FT's, got outrebounded and turned the ball over more. The difference was they went on some insane runs of transition, and hot 3 point shooting. It was like Miami Heat de ja vu. It looked exactly like what Miami did before Wade's knees started to give out. Lot's of high flying fast breaks for high percentage shots, wide open threes, etc. Very impressed by the Cavs last night, but man do they struggle in the half court offense. I don't know much about their current head coach, but I know if he can get these players to buy in, and run an efficient half court offense, this team is very dangerous. Looking at the previous few games, it looks like Cleveland is focusing on pushing the pace to build the lead, then hang on...then overwhelm the other team in the second half. Moving forward betting on the Cavs, I think they are vulnerable to well-coached teams who can out-scheme them in the half court, and who can prevent those stretches of huge points being scored.
As for the Pacers, they played well in the half court, but just couldn't match athleticism and speed and that's something to keep in mind moving forward. If we can get good lines on some of the faster teams in the league it might be a great time to fade the Pacers.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I've been swamped with work today...haven't had time to look over the game tonight at all so I'm probably staying away. Might lean Pacers with the points since Thomas is out again, but the Suns are a team I know very little about. If anyone else follows them close I'd love to hear their perspective on where the Suns are right now before I make a definite play

We're far enough into the season that some trends should start to be playing themselves out, and one trend with the Pacers is that they struggle against higher tempo teams. Need to start fading the Pacers and supporting the higher tempo teams in the west, and I think tonight is a good spot to start. 8.5 is a lot to lay, but Portland is in a different class right now. Portland at home, Pacers still getting healthy...I like Portland and the over tonight.

Wish this article would've been written yesterday. Last night I was super frustrated because this is 2 losing games in a row for me, and I couldn't figure it why...until I found this article.
Lost 2 bets last night because I didn't know this change was coming, but at least we have this information for tonight, and we know more about what the Pacers game plan is going to be moving forward. Sorry if anyone tailed...had I known this lineup change was coming and what they were going to do with it it would've reversed the bets last night. Hint: Unders are going to start hitting again with this team.

As some of you know I run a video production company making TV shows, and I'm looking at some new concepts for 2015. I've wondered why there isn't a show on TV dedicated purely to gambling, especially on the weekends. Sunday mornings I can watch a show about fantasy football, there are 6 channels doing shows about football, but there's no show on TV dedicated to the lines, line movements, NFL, MLB, NBA, College sports gambling.
I watched the online show Vegas Sportsday and liked it a lot, but thought it needed to be on TV to gain a little more traction. I'm thinking of pitching a show to some channels kind of like the "Sportscenter of gambling" where we cover all sports, even the less popular ones like MMA, Golf, etc, but obviously we focus on the big ones. Does this sound interesting to anyone, and just off the top of your head, what would be appealing about a show like that? Thanks for your input...

Got a question for people in here...

Sound like a good idea. But in the states are'nt you prohibited from gambling in most states
In Australia we have a lot of weekly sports shows where the bookies normally advertise / promote and will squeeze in the odds before or after each games preview. It is actually quiet distasteful even to a gambler like myself (the advertising part) as it is pretty full on
Back to your concept though. Yes I like it.

nice to see you back Alan. I've just started betting NBA this yr. Was 2-0 then took the under first H vs ATL the other day, you know the drill. Took 2nd H under at 100.5 and it hit. I think this is a good system still, primarily because of the absence of Paul George. Their offense has suffered without him, but still surprisingly putting up descent #s somewhat. GL this yr and I look forward to reading your thoughts in here
