Watch out for Lowry - back LARGE !! Toronto brings in a whole nation, not a city: Miami fans ar short and don't play hoops, they like soccer, baseball, an horses - not B-ball. Heat have no draw on TV without Lebron.

Didn't really watch the game. Forwarded through it. Lots of foul shots for the Raps. In hindsight, Miami could not have competed with the Cavs (due to all the injuries). This might make for more compelling TV (the raps should win one game:).
I disagree with you regarding the Spurs 100%. I always felt the NBA wanted OKC and Warriors. That game on ABC that you capped was one of the best games of the season (playoffs included), featuring three out of the best five basketball players in the world (the other two being Leonard and James), in their prime. Nobody but basketball junkies wanted the Spurs to advance. Just look at all the game changing calls that went against the Spurs, at home no less. And trust me on this Scal, the Warriors would have destroyed them worse than the Thunder did (beating the Spurs in 5). Once they started to play every other day, the Spurs got old fast.
The Thunder are scary, and can actually beat the Warriors if they come through in crunch time. This series will go 6 or 7, and the Thunder will get a split after the first two games, though I'm not sure which one they win.
Well given two crucial calls went OKC's way late in two games (the Inbounds fiasco and then the ridiculous Adam's back step trip on Green) I can't say you are wrong with regard to what WC finals the NBA desired. Would the Spurs still have won the series? I wouldn't have bet on it at that point even up 3-2. And yes I now agree GS would have taken them out. Our previous discussion was solely based on Curry's health and that night he puts up the greatest OT of all time, putting that argument to bed.
I agree the Thunder are dangerous. It's a matter of picking the right one in the first two.
Good thing you FF'd through this one. One of the ugliest series I have ever watched. Just terrible.
