I do completely agree with your analysis and I was all over the Knicks as soon as I saw the line, but my one worry simply is that the Knicks will still have to make jump-shots and have to adjust to bad runs without falling into their isolation on offense to win this game. Being an away team in these type of match-ups certainly makes it more difficult also...Not in the specifics of getting up for the game, because we know that is not a problem....but in terms of momentum and calls......Carmelo for instance is a way better player and more aggressive when he is getting calls inside, then when he is not.....Your deff right about Shumpert on defense though, he is a phenomenal square up defender, which is something that should never go unnoticed, just like chandler (who i know is out) when he is playing does something that stats don't show, and thats simply being a tall body in the center that makes the other teams offense, especially guards trying to penetrate...(and lets face it their are plenty of very good point guards these days) adjust their shot when they come up in the lane, which contributes to a way lower shooting percentage for teams...that and his tipbacks on offense, there is nobody better at that.....When the Knicks play as a team, instead of playing as individuals, it is then that they are a much better team....However when they start playing bad, they seem to get stuck in this isolation business, with no real rhythm on offense.....Though Pablo is old, one thing he does very well when he is in the game that is essential for their offense is create space...he moves around a lot opening up the floor....and he also is someone that always gives his all.......and btw you did make a great call on Portland this year, despite losing that first game....but look at the suns this year, that is one team that nobody could have put on the radar, but they all play as a team and know their responsibilities.....If the Knicks can do the same, we won't have a problem in this game....

Hey, we can't shoot the ball for them. They have to play 48 minutes of solid ball including the 4th where they have been snakebit.
Everything points to that happening in my opinion.
4 days rest to prepare for this game. There is no lookahead. The time is now.
Thx for the props on Portland. Laying two and a half to OKC last night. Who would have imagined that at the beginning of the season?

I recall the last time these two met in Brooklyn, there seemed to be an overwhelming # of Knick fans in house. Hearing the crowd, it almost sounded like a home game for NY. I bring this up because if ever a home crowd was obsolete, this would be the game. I wouldn't give Brooklyn any points for home court advantage tonight.
Both teams are a mess, but in my opinion - Jason Kidd is in way over his head. He has no clue what he's doing and with his current roster, I don't see how they win this game. And yes, Lawrence Frank wasn't the best HC, but he had something Kidd does not... and that's experience. Kidd is going to learn the ropes the hard way.
Knicks Large!
