Phix, you simply can't lump all those games together. Each was its own entity. I could get into each one and tell you what I thought would happen and what ended up happening, but that would take a lot of time. Take my word when I say that none of those results (except maybe the Mavs in games 1 and 2) surprised me much, if at all. And I get the fact that the players are professional entertainers! If your argument is that the Spurs will lose this game for entertainment value, then you'll have to explain why, and I'll have to decide if I agree or disagree. But if your argument is that the Spurs will lose because they will not take the Thunder seriously (cause they are missing their 3rd best player) then I'm not buying.

Well, this is certainly an interesting angle and one worth considering. We will call it, the Vegas Angle. Although I consider vegas when I make my bets, it is usually the 5th or 6th factor that I consider. These playoffs have been great for dog lovers, but those trends might change. I certainly see your point, but I'm not convinced that the games are scripted (or at least not yet).

I know you don't believe in them, and I'm not saying the NBA is necessarily rigged, only that there is an inherent bias towards certain players and teams, but there are rigged games in other sports. I know because I have won money betting on them. Unfortunately, they are extremely difficult to spot. You either need someone on the inside, or you need to figure it out yourself through inductive reasoning. I can give you examples if you'd like.

lol @ people who think there's no corruption in the NBA. believing everything the officiating and office spews. Steve Javie probably makes them feel comfortable & certain there's no funny business when they interview this crook during games about ref calls....... .......i guess the refs are just stupid, incompetent morons who can often get obvious calls wrong.....even if they are even a meter away from the action.

regardless of beginnerboys comments the only person who seems to not know about the NBA here is you. There are hundreds if not thousands of documented cases where officials have admittedly either outright fixed games or swayed them in one direction or the other for personal gain or by the advisement of the league office. To think otherwise makes you an uninformed and oblivious gambler to what really goes on.

Parker out hurts but San is so deep that production is filled. Mills is playing well and green and ginobli will get more looks. Both thrive in big games. Let's not forget pop is the far better coach. Brooks' in game adjustments result in westbrook or durant jacking deep 3's. No thanks. I'll take the deeper, better coached team any day. Okc will not steal game one.
