You sure it was the NBA Miami n not college or nfl?
We tend not to read the rule n terms cuz who has time to read all that it is like a book to read.
House rules
Just like paper parlay, all tie lose. Most books, all tie cancel.

I had a similar situation (I think) when I took the Red Sox -1.5 runs on August 7th. The game was suspended after the home team (Red Sox) batted in the 9th. It was "suspended" due to rain, with the score tied 4-4. Initially my money was refunded. Then they took my refund back and counted it as a loss! I thought, "but the game IS NOT over!". They said their rule was that "If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie". According to that wording, the game was a tie - so no winner should have been determined. Worst case, my funds should have stayed in limbo until the game was resumed and finished. (When they did resume the game the Sox won by a run).
I found the wording incredibly confusing. Why would they grade my wager a loss when the Sox could have hit a grand slam in the last half of the 10th inning when they resumed the game? And, if that's the case, did they pay everyone with Royals +1.5 run bets? Don't know. Can't check in with those folks.
Can't wait for legalized gambling to come to my state. It'll be here in a year or so. Then I'll be done with the opaque practices of overseas, online books,

Well since they have been absolutely no help whatsoever, I guess I can just let you all know...
The Site is PointsBets and up until now, I loved them. Won’t ever make another deposit
I have deposited and lost close to 10k on their site, in which I had a contact there who hooked me up with bonus and always made sure I was taken care of. But after this, I’m done.
when we were talking, he even said to me “I didn’t even know that was our rule, doesn’t make sense to me either”
So I am done. That was a $600 swing. Not cool at all

Stay away from bonuses that requires x amount of roll over. Bet USA gave me 50 bux free play. I hit it so you know where they put my free play? They added it into my regular account so all that I have in my account is now x amount of roll over which is impossible to do.
For that lousy 50 bux, I wan not able to cash out my 7 grand.
Read the terms. Highly important. Plus with every books, gotta make sure they pay out too. Cant be losing no 10k just to find out that your 1k withdraw is under their limited withdrawal amount.
Go with a different, more honest books.
