On a side note. The only person in this thread I don't like is LETSGOPACKERS.
He reminds me of the 'rich kid' who picks on all the normal kids because they don't have as much money as his parents do. We get it guy, you have been blessed with Aaron Rodgers. You never have anything constructive to say. You only pop up when things go sour. I have no respect for people like you. So feel free to post in my thread there is a good chance I might just skip over it.
Acting as if Tannehill is Matt Flynn or something. I guess you didn't watch the second half of the Dolphins/Packers game where Tannehill lit up the Packers like a Christmas tree. Not even sure if he had a incomplete pass in the second half...Oh, I forgot. Tannehill haters only like to bring up games where the Dolphins O-line consists of 2 practice squad players and a Bill Cosby card board cutout.
Aww man, you don't like me? How will I sleep at night?
I used to be like you. Refuse to let anybody say anything negative about my team. Its not my fault you cant understand Tannehill is not a good QB, but average at best.
Yeah, he really "lit up" GB for 244 yds and 2 TDS and @ INTS....
Keep blaming Tannehills bad games on the rest of his team and not on Tannehill himself
Its def his O-Line that causes him to throw it 5yds short on crossing patterns when the WR is wide-open with nobody around him....we get it

What are athletes not human too? Come on i know we all want to have this childish illusion that are idols play for the love of the game. I even used to believe it at one time....and than I turned 12.
It has nothing to do with playing for the love of the game or playing for the money.
Fact is, without sports 98% of athletes these days would be working 9-5 jobs maybe making $50,000 a year....maybe.
And the fact that they get to wake up everyday without a care in the world and millions in the bank, and people claim they still need a coach to motivate them is a joke.
An athletes life....wake up everyday, workout one or two times a day, play a sport that everyone loves, drive any car you want, live where you want, buy what you want....but need someone to motivate you??? That's whats wrong with the world

They went from one of the leagues best defense after week 11 to allowing 36 points a game and almost 200 yards on the ground the final 6 games. Their biggest problem was they were soft.

That was a post I made from the 2nd page of this thread.
I definitely underestimated Philbins ability to lead these men. The Dolphins needed a coach to fire them up, and now they have it.
Getting a fiery coach and getting rid of Coyle were the 2 best things that could have happen for this team. With Albert back they definitely have a shot to finish right around 8-8, and possibly sneak towards 9-7. The AFC playoff picture is a joke. Other than the Patriots and Bengals, anything can happen. Denver could be 0-4 and instead 4-0. This season is far from over. The Dolphins play Titans and Texans next 2 weeks. 3-3 is very doable.
I'm excited again. I've read two people say this week this is the most talented roster the Dolphins had in years (Crowder and Campbell) and I agree to an extent. Talent is not the problem with this team, coach was a HUGE reason. Jordan Cameron already said he will run thru a wall for his new coach, I think you will be surprised how much better Miami starts to play.

I would like to give a long writeup on this game but I really have no idea what is going to happen.
I still believe in a lot of players the Dolphins have, I just obviously need to see it to believe it. I've mentioned how important Albert is to this team. (6-3 with him, 3-8 without him.) He will be playing this week, along with Grimes and maybe even Dion Sims. The Dolphins are healthy but again I need to see something in this team I haven't seen for a long time.
Anyone who knows anyhting about the Dolphins is how much Joe Philbin was hurting this team. I mentioned last year how many times the Dolphins were winning inspite of Joe Philbin. Their new coach Dan Campbell might not be the answer, but thank god is he changing the culture. The Dolphins played with the passion of their headcoach. They walked through games with no emotion and that was their biggest flaw. I don't see that happening with Campbell. He is a complete 180 from Joe Philbin. The Dolphins might not be able to overcome a 1-3 start to make the playoffs, but this certainly is not one of the worst teams in the NFL. I didn't recognize the team I saw on the field this year. Getting Albert back and letting Philbin go will have this team playing better. I fully expect them to finish the season right around 8-8.
I expect Dolphins to really be simple this game and pound the ball, and play defense. The Dolphins offense and defensive line will determine the outcome of this game.
Prediction: 23-17, Dolphins.
Miami Dolphins ML (+120): 3.5u to win 4.3

Not sure why you have a hesitant write-up on the Dolphins side.
You said Albert was key. Here he is.
You said Philbin was hurting them. He's now gone.
You get a one game boost from the coaching shake-up (the game directly after a coaching change usually works out well for the team with the new coach in my experience).
It's obvious who the more talented team is.
You're coming off a bye week.
What more can you ask for.
We're on the same side here. I just expected a lot more than "I have no idea what is going to happen".
I do. Dolphins win. And if they don't? Season over. Love backing a team with their season on the line. 1-3 is that sweet spot where it happens (coincidentally that's the titans record but they aren't expected to win even 6 games. Fins are.)

Had a feeling the Dolphins would be the snake team of the week. Low profile and coming in as the underdog. They certainly have the talent to be a good team and many expected them to come flooding out of the gates. With Tennessee hanging tough against the Bills only losing by a point last week, I actually see Miami winning this game like they are supposed to. They've had the time to regroup and recuperate with last week's bye. Tannehill get it rolling and Suh might even get a hold of Mariota.
Fins 27 Titans 16

I want to get excited, but I figured if I came on here spouting more pro Dolphin stuff it would be rediculous to do so. I definitely think the Dolphins SHOULD dominate this game but they should have dominated most of their games so far. Philbin, and more so Coyle were a big problem but coaching can only go so far. The coaches aren't outthere executing and tackeling. The players have to be held somewhat responsible. They should come out and play better but again until I see it I am not completely buying in. They still have holes at CB2 (props to jerrywrasse for realizing this before me, I had hopes of Jamar Taylor and the more I see of him the more he reminds me of a slightly better Jimmy Wilson...Also Mccain sucks badly) and in the secondary, and their linebackers are still average.
I know what the Dolphins SHOULD do, but again I can only say it so many times until they actually go out and perform. Words can't describe how shocked I am that they have 1 sack this year. ONE SACK. That stat alone pretty much sums up the Dolphins season.
I am pretty confident the Dolphins win (this is first time I bet on them in 3 weeks) because I know what should happen, but 4 games in a row played poorly makes me believe they could easily come out and play poorly. Which is why I say I don't know whats going to happen.

I would love for the Dolphins to win this game but at the same time I'm hoping my home boy Marcus Mariota has a great game as well. I'm hoping more for a Fins victory though.
Good luck on your wagers EW

Amazing what can happen when you get pressure on the QB, and block on offense. This is the team that should have been showing up since week 1. Painfully obvious Philbil was a problem.
I was at a wedding all day and couldn't watch, but wow what I saw on highlights made me really happy. I will be back with full thoughts after I watch more in depth.
Shoutout to Cameron Wake who had 4 sacksin the first half, two of which were strip sacks. How in the world did this team have 1 sack all year???
Fins up.

If you were in the Northeast it was FREEZING...(and I know people like to do these things outside in October)
Nice pick to you aswell. You were more confident than I was and it paid off. I've only seen the Dolphins play like they did today maybe 5-6 times the last 5-6 years which is why I obviously was not as confident. Knowing the talent the Dolphins have I expect them to play like this all the time, it is just nice when they do. Season saving game today and they NEED to win next week vs Texans to set up a monster game at Pats on thursday night.
As for the Wedding, the ceremony was outside but the party was inside. It was cold and the snow/rain/sleet held off until we were inside.
On a side note, funny how this thread get bumped 10 times when the Fins are getting blown out at halftime...but those same people vanish like Peyton Manning's arm when the Fins have success. People are sad.

About rewatching this game all I can say is this is the Dolphins team that should be showing up each and every week with the talent they have. Everyone on their roster played with passion and heart. I actually just read something that the Titans said the Dolphins were 'being too physical'...WHAT? That is what I love to hear, you would never hear that under Philbin (on a side note, what clown from the Titans would put his name on anything saying the other team was "too physical.")
Tannehill played really well. People will look and say he threw 2 INTS but one hit right off Camerons hands, and the other was miscommunication. That could have been on Cameron or Tannehill, but it looked like it might be on Tannehill. Either way he was throwing crisp clean passes, hitting some deep balls and everything else. Its amazing what can happen when your offensive line blocks isn't it. Even when the Titans brought pressure, the O-line blocked. Miller ran fast and hard, breaking tackles. Landry is an absolute freak he needs more targets that is for sure. Dion Sims is a beast he is very underrated and changes this offense. Like Suuma said once they get Parker it should only improve.
The defense was flying all over hitting everything. Getting pressure and making sweet INTS. It was just a fun game to watch. I've been saying it all year how much talent they have and yesterday was step one in proving that. I really hope they don't have a letdown next week vs Houston. I don't think they will but you never know. All I do know is this is a fun team to watch again. I don't care if they don't make the playoffs at this point. Just play better, play more motivated and make it fun to watch again.
Thank you Dan Campbell, thank you.

EW I agree with you but I want them to make the playoffs lol. That's all I ask as well...play hard for 4 qtrs. of the game.
This next game is tricky...The Dolphins have yet to beat the Texans. They seem to have the Dolphins number every time they play...I'm hoping they can finally beat them this weekend.
Congrats on your wager EW

Campbell gets respect from the players so there's that but the Titans are a weak team this year so I need to see what they can do against better opponents as we go on in the season. Also, everyone knew that giving Miller the ball more than 10 times might help. The problem isn't just that he wasn't getting the ball. It's that the offense is much more predictable when you know what formations they use and how often they're even running when showing those looks.
I'm still a firm believer that Tannehill is an above-average quarterback at best, however. There are times he's just not decisive enough about where he wants to go with the ball. His deep ball needs work, too.

Did you know that in Brandon Albert's last 5 full games, the Dolphins have outscored their opponents 146 - 47 and are 5-0?
If you take away the game vs GB in which they played the best QB in NFL history, who needed a desperation drive and fake spike to beat them. They are 6-0 outscoring opponents 184 - 61.

Huge Phins fan! I see another great effort coming against the Texans. Hopefully a win of course. Not to be negative, but we are not nearly ready for the Pats in a night game on the road. I'm obviously a New England hater since I'm a Phins fan, but they look possesed this year. PHINS UP

I really like them this week. If it was in Houston I would be really worried. I think the home fans are will really bring it after last weeks game. I expect it to be very loud. The Fins have played 1 game in Miami all year, I definitely think the crowd will help them bring energy similar to last week.
The one good thing about this game is no matter what team you bet on, to me it will be obvious what will happen by the end of the first quarter. So you can buy out of your bet in some fashion. Miami is either going to come out flat or with their hair on fire. I REALLY hope the Dolphins start on defense. If they make a big play and force a turnover, or start extremely fast it could turn into a big blowout. If they come out flat early and look sluggish. I will live bet on the Texans ML without hesitation.
I really think they come out fast and hungry like last week. Signs point to that, but we both know any given game the Dolphins could no-show. Thats just a reality I hope Campbell changes. This game reminds of last year vs San Diego. If they play like they did last week. It will turn out like that.

My biggest question going into this week was. Will the Dolphins bring the type of energy they did last week? I read something today that really made me happy. To start practice today after they did their running, the Dolphins new coach did a drill that most likely has never been done before. He made a circle of veterans and inside of that circle were all rookies. The goal of the drill was for the rookies to fight their way otuside of the circle. The players loved it, and were 'hooting and hollering' while doing the drill. Not only do the players love it, but I love it too. This team feels nothing like it did week 1-5. Weeks 1-5 they looked like zombies, now they look like Stone Cold Steve Austin fresh off of a Vince Mcmahon stunner. The new coach has breathed fresh air into this team and it is exactly what they needed. If you haven't seen Campbells post game speech you should. You will not hear many coaches tell his players that he will bleed for them. I'm certainly not saying Dan Campbell has all the answers. But as of right now he has completely changed the feel of an NFL franchise and won a game 38-10 in about 15 days. Thats not an easy task.
Really that is all it comes down to. With Brandon Albert in the lineup, Miami can beat any team they line up against if they bring the intensity on offense and defense. Now there is no way to tell until kickoff if they will bring that energy but all signs point to them doing it. The home crowd, their new coach, their practice this week and their win last week make me optimnistic. Add to that, their season is basically on the line and how can they not bring the intensity. This is also the first and only 1 o clock home game the dolphins have in Sept/October and their record is tremendous in that situation. I've heard some stats before but never been able to verify them so I didn't post it. Lets just say last years game vs NE (33-20 win) and vs SD (37-0 win) were both at home in the 1 oclock time slot where humidity is the highest.
All signs in this game point to a Miami Dolphins blowout and that alone makes me nervous. This team has me buying in and that always adds a pit to my stomach. I know what SHOULD happen in this game, but will it? All we can do as gamblers is put ourselves in profittable positions and play the odds. Thats what I am doing in this game. I definitely feel the line should be -6.5 or 7. I remember the line vs SD last year was like -2.5. This game really reminds me of that. It just does. Like I said in my last post though is that you will know early what Dolphins team will show up. If they come out strong, in the first 8-10 minutes I expect a blowout. If they play sluggish, slow and uninspired I fully advise you to buy out of your Dolphins bet (if you do bet on the Dolphins.) I just think with Grimes on Nuke, their best player on offense the Texans will have a very tough time moving the ball. Foster will have to have a monster game.
Also, if you missed my last post. The Dolphins are 5-0 and outscoring their opponent 146-47 in Brandon Albert's last 5 games. I forsee a Dolphins blowout. In all 5 of those games I just mentioned, the Dolphins came out on fire early except for week 1 vs Washington. That will be the biggest factor in this game. ENERGY.

A totally different team since the coaching change.
But let's be honest. Back to back wins over Tennessee and Houston. The next 5 weeks will be brutal. 4 road games at New England, Buffalo, Philly, and the Jets with a homer vs. Dallas. How they run this upcoming stretch will tell the true story. Just navigating those games at 3-2 would be impressive.
I don't blame you for being excited. They look great right now.
