It took me awhile to figure out this ^^^^^ was some version of the word analytics maybe posted by a person with a southern country accent through voice command. Anal----lick-----ticks Awesome. Carry on.
I definitely read that in Forrest Gump voice

The Lions could be up 11-0 right now. Campbell goes for it on 4th n 1 from the 7. I don't really disagree with the call, but why not try to run for 1 yard, they called a pass...

Tom Brady had his best qbr and comp% of the year vs the Seahawks, and it was the first time that the Bucs rush % was more than 50% this year.
57% rush, 43% pass
Before this game the Bucs led the league in pass play % at 67%
The Packers ran by design on 62% of their plays. The highest in Aaron Rodgers career.
Saquon Barkley had 35 carries
The Steelers out rushed the Saints 217 to 29

"People are wondering why traditional QB's like Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers and Matt Ryan aren't doing well."
Take this bit from post #1, all 3 qb's won yesterday. What made the difference?
TB 31 pass attempts vs 44 carries. Only averaged 3.7 ypc but still won.
GB 20 pass attempts vs 39 carries, averaged 5.3 ypc.
IND 28 pass attempts vs 30 carries, averaged 6.9 ypc. Including a Matt Ryan 37 yard scamper that no one saw coming.
The nfl adjusts, coaches notice.

@IntenseOperator
You aren't correct about anything, as I barely watch or listen to any of the talking heads on tv.
What's the point of you posting on this thread?
Can you provide us with anything worthwhile in helping us handicap the nfl?
I'll wait

He spent time in the box because he told LionsIn23 to commit suicide or to kill himself in multiple posts .
What a fucking disgrace to humanity !
You may be intense pal but you don’t know how to operate at all . Whatever rage or displeasure is slowly boiling it’s way to the surface of your existence needs to be subdued and relaxed just a tad . How about a nice tranquilizer in the neck ?
Or what about if you go for that experimental therapy , where they restrain you , and place you in front of something that looks like a glory hole , but instead of a penis , it’s just butt after butt that just ate Taco Bell slinging fart rocket projectiles into your face for a straight 24 hour period . That will remedy you and deter you from acting out …..
after that fart poop doody bombing and poopy powder residue explosion barrage you’ll take the significance of life to a higher degree , and to a different level , because you will know what true suffering is , and you will have the couth to no longer wish the demise of your fellow human beings by way of attacks on their own person …..
free monte , and just like people and life the NFL is constantly evolving and taking on new shapes to counteract the increasing resistance it faces that looks to negate it’s production ….
it’s all relative . And so are we . We all come from Africa . God bless brothers

Here's a weird nugget. Only 2 teams won this week(week 12), with having less than 26 carriers. The Jags with 18, and Chargers with 13. All other winning teams had a minimum of 26 carries(Miami).
It took a 2pt conversion to win by 1 pt, for both the Jags and Bolts.
Someone send a memo to these OC's all ready, it takes balance on offense to win a football game.
I'm talking to you Byron Leftwich.
Non running qb's who lost this week:
Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Jared Goff, Mac Jones, Russell Wilson, Kyle Allen, Trevor Siemian, Ryan Tannehill, Andy Dalton, Aaron Rogers.

To your point, heard Bruce Murray and Charlie Weis lamenting how the Bengals sold out on shutting down the run, which forces Tannehill to win the game for them, which he isn’t going to be able to do most of the time. Derrick Henry is great, but Tenn is too one-dimensional with running the ball. Ironically, Tenn’s secondary on defense is ranked bottom 6. They’re literally built like an old school team and can still win, until they face a team with a more diverse gameplan.

There are slight barely noticeable changes in the game, that are hard to pick up on.
Pass attempts per game are down this year, running attempts are up/ Clock is moving more than ever.
All other dynamics of the game are pretty much the same, other than first down average target rates.
So, last year a team targets a receiver down field and misses. clock stops. this year you dump it off, have a higher chance of completion, and clock moves. Average target rate on first down is lowest its been in 10 years.
Take off 45-60 seconds per play twice a game...thats more scoring.

After 14 weeks, the Eagles are 12-1. They have the lowest pass% in the league at 50%. 566 pass attempts vs 567 runs. Talk about a perfect balance. And to think that it's the highest run rate at 50%.
San Fran is the #1 weighted dvoa team to date. They pass 51% of the time. 620 pass attempts to 584 runs.
Not all of this is apples to apples, as the Chiefs, Bills and Cowboys are having a winning year with being in the upper 3rd of passing rates.
One team in particular who could be doing well(record wise) because of relative balance is the Vikings. They have thrown it 58% this year. They are 10-2 despite being low in dvoa and other metrics. Also, the Titans at 7-6. They really have a lack luster roster(overall) talent wise. They have thrown it 51%, staying balanced and grinding out games.

Since week 10, thirteen teams have a passing % of 60 or more. A rather unbalanced attack. Their combined record is 26-32-1.
Since week 10, Philly's passing % has dropped to 40%, they are 4-1 in that span. The lone loss coming vs the Commanders who's pass % is 50% in said span. Hurts had 26 pass attempts, the team had 20 carries.
SF is 6-0 since week 10, pass % of 46%.
