right. ben's crappy offensive line will have no problems vs one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Love how all of the sudden the Jets are a "great defense."

 

Great defenses don't give up 64 points in consecutive games.

Why, because the Jets beat the mighty Falcons?  This is one of the top 3 square plays of the week.  Gotta be kidding with a max bet.

I like this. It's all about buying low/selling high. Good spot for Pittsburgh here coming off the bye. Jets will be looking ahead to the New England game. However Pittsburgh might be thinking about the game against Baltimore next week as well. I guess we'll see if Tomlin keeps them focused. But yeah if this is a pick em game, hard not to take Steelers. 

As BigNiner noted: Jets 66 points allowed last two games

Listen. Im no "pro capper" or nothing but im tired of people calling square bets. Tbh if you can afford it and the money looks tasty enough go for it and it might leave you right where the ppl who never take "square bets" are if not BETTER!!! Have to be careful though vegas is brilliant. But sitting here looking at these scores its mind boggling. You damn near need a crystal ball to even be a 60% winner lol. Thats why its called gambling it takes guts and smarts at the same time!!

Really curious how you think the Steelers will block the Jets' defensive line, and how you think the Steelers will run the ball. 

It's a very good spot for the Steelers, but it's a really bad matchup for their offense.

Go check the historical records of winless teams coming off a bye and get back to me.

Also, go check how teams do after winning straight up on the road as heavy dogs and then being favored at home (which the Jets will be now).

 everyone now will jump on Jets based on this game. Falcons D is hideous. Pitt is coming off a bye, absolutely desperate for a win. Vs a Jets team off a huge emotional high and a short week. All the Jets are going to hear all week is how great they are and how the playoffs are in sight for them. Steelers will smack them in the face.

Minnesota allowed Detroit, Chicago and Cleveland all to run over 100 yards. Pittsburgh ran for 77 yards on 3.7 yards per carry against Minnesota.

The Jets have a MUCH better run defense than Minnesota.

I agree that this is a great spot for Pittsburgh, but this is a terrible matchup for the Steelers' offense. Atlanta couldn't run the ball today, and the Jets gave no respect whatsoever to their run game because of their weapons on the outside.


Agree with you that it's a good spot for Pittsburgh, off a bye against a team coming off a big win on short rest. But Pittsburgh's offense won't do much against this Jets' defense. If the Steelers win, it will be because Geno reverted back to his turnover-prone ways (which is entirely possible).

I am a Jets fan though, so as unbiased as I try to be, there's still a tinge of fandom in there.

Jetfanmack - Fair post and I respect the disclaimer. This is a very strong situational spot for the Steelers. Don't underestimate the desperation with 2 weeks to prepare.

And again....Jets D is not great so stop saying that. They just gave up 66 god damn points in 2 games!

With Pitt  it's the same as the Giants , people keep throwing money on these bad teams thinking they can't keep losing , but they can and will 
my power ratings  the only team Pitt would beat is Jacksonville and possible the Giants
