Let me ask you this. How did the pats defense do in the superbowl against carolina?  If I remember correctly not to well. That game was a shootout.  Jake Delhomme went up and down the field on them. Where does Jake rank on your QB list? How about the Philly superbowl?  Gave up some points against them as well.  I believe 21 to be exact.

You can honestly say Brady had nothing to do winning those superbowls. Come On. Thats ridiculous. 

So like you said defense wins championships. I guess you are admitting that the colts defense won that championship in 07?

my point was that nobody realizes how good the colts d was the year they won the superbowl. but finally someone agrees. 

And yes i do agree the first superbowl the pats won was because they had a very good defense but brady made the throws and plays when he had to. Go back to that game, the pats d was very good but brady was a very good as well. 

In the other two super bowl wins brady was flat out brillant. Pats d was subpar at best. So i do have to disagree with you ice4blood.  A good O can win a superbowl.  Rams for example.

If that is someones opinion that the pats d won there superbowls than it will be hard to change their mind. But for someone to say that Brady had nothing to do with it and is not one of the leagues greatest is flat out dead wrong.

So what your telling me a defense can allow 35 points and play well?  I can see if the offense turned the ball over and put the defense on a short field than you can say maybe the d played well.  But great defenses come up with stops in those spots.

I know this.  Funny how you forget about all Mannings playoff interceptions and failures once he "wins" a superbowl. 

Bottom line is what i have learned about all your assanine posts is Brady is a nobody that won three superbowls.

I will say this is manning good yes but game on the line huge spot i take brady 9 outta 10 times.

And since i need to explain everything to you Manning apoligist. What i am saying about defense is 21points or 35 points will make it tough on any offense to win. That is unless Tom Brady is at the helm

I guess we agree to disagree.  I dont care what anyone says no qb can go out and be unstoppable or even close to that every game.  Everyone will see this with brees over the next few weeks.  Perfect example is brady in 07. Perfect for 18 outta 19.  And i have seen Manning fold many of times especially when the games are at their biggest.  Check out mannings playoff games against the chargers and patriots in foxboro over the years.

As far as the superbowls, i think the first superbowl against the rams he did what he had to do to win the game but the other to wins he was flat out unbelievable.  love your insight though

Your comparing manning being "brillant" on a monday night in sept against a bad team to Brady not being able to lead a team down the field with 45 secs left and no timeouts against a GREAT giants defense on the biggest stage.  Hate to do the name calling thing but you my friend are a moron. By the way didnt Brady lead his team down the field for a go ahead score in that same game late in the fourth but that great NE defense couldnt come up with a stop.
