Well said.
@bossmanDEL
If this were a real thing wouldn’t the jets have let the jags walk into the end zone last week? There are too many coaches and players livelihoods at stake for me to consider folding being as obvious as it seems to me, believe me I’m a jets fan and this is two years in a row we have WON meaningless games late in the year and messed up our draft pick position

I fooled around with your premise, Van. I came up with a lot of categories.
OUT vs OUT: CHI-nyg; SEA-det
Clinched vs OUT: tpa-JETS
Clinched vs Clinched: DAL-az
Clinched vs Currently in: kc-CIN
Clinched vs Bubble Team: GB-Minn; rams-BALT
Currently in vs OUT: SF-hou; NE-jax
Currently in vs Currently in: TEN-mia
Currently in vs Bubble Team: IND-lv; BUFF-atl; Phi-WASH
Bubble vs Bubble: LAC-den; cleve-PITT
Bubble vs OUT: NO-car
Clinched, Doesn't need win: None
[Bubble teams = need wins & luck]

Sorry if someone already made this point, but I could not find it when I went through this thread.
There are actually a few more Scenarios than the A,B,C & D you listed that I have found provide great opportunities for playing one team vs. the other.
E. Both Teams have clinched a spot in Playoffs, but one team can improve their positioning with a win and the other team cant. (Strong situational play)
F. Neither Team is in the Playoffs, but one team can improve their position in the Draft with a LOSS. (Strong situational play)
G. One Team is in the Playoffs and can improve their position and get home field with a win and the other team is 6-10 and has nothing to play for. (Strong situational play)
I think each of the above scenarios provides some strong situational plays beyond A, B, C and D.
Some food for thought?

@philschnaars
Good point. Except, if the Jags lose out they are guaranteed the #1. Besides drafting a marquis player, the value could be worth a couple of future #1s. Easier for Jags to control they will end up with #1 overall than the Jets.

That's exactly my sentiment as well FAM
The last 2-3 weeks of the regular season have been brutal buzzsaws for me more often than not...
Trying my best to maintain discipline and bet light Sunday ....
Currently leaning on
MIAMI TT OVER , Eagles ML , Colts ML ,Bengals + the points, Vikings + points, Steelers ML ... Might just throw then in cheap RR parlays and call it a day ...

That might be very profitable...Believe I was around 22% the last 2 weeks of the season 2018-2020

@budwiser
The Packers will not be 7 point favorites in both playoff games if they are the number 1 seed. They would only be a 3.5 point chalk to TB and probably 4 points over Dallas. Maybe 6 over the Rams.

Yea it's just really cold. There won't be any snow on the field. High of 26, winds 10-15 mph could factor in. I wouldn't want to tackle anyone in these conditions.

This is exactly why I can see the Jets winning today. They always win games that don't matter and mess up the draft picks.. Especially with the fact that Brady may sit a bit. I don't think I'm gonna touch it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

Just saw this on Dr. Bob's site:
Teams that need to win in the final two weeks of the regular season to avoid playoff elimination are just 67-101-5 ATS against teams that have already been eliminated.
