reminds me of the seahawks game...

wilson has the ball on 4th down, and they punt to aaron rodgers.  finished out the game.  just about everyone knew how that was going to turn out.  if it's garropolo, you punt the ball.

There’s a laundry list of reasons, actually, number one being that the Packers aren’t getting an injury riddled Niners team that hasn’t rested in 2 months after playing the Packers, Saints, Ravens in advance of playing the Rams and Seahawks. The Packers also have something to lose, so won’t be able to play carefree the way the hapless Falcons did when they had already made reservations for their off season vacations. people always compare reg season games like its transitive to the playoffs. ATL game was a huge sandwich game bet Saints and Rams, both which they had absolutely had to win to get HFA and no1 seeding in the NFC. The saints game where they scored 48 pts in a shootout in the dome to win against Drew Brees. In the playoffs there is no sandwich or let down games, i dont think it will be a blowout but it would be very hard to win esp when your best o-line bulaga may not play or not be 100% if he does.

Packers have something to lose? They are going to play the best team left and got spanked earlier in the year in the same place. The Niners are the much better team. They have nothing to lose at all, if they get blown out no one will even find it a big deal...

How can we write anyone off after watching the "Super Bowl Favourites" get handled by a 6 seed. I am definitely a biased Packer fan but I honestly think the first meeting is completely blinding everyone with this packer team. Jimmy G is still the young gun and hasnt shown he can take over the big moment, not saying he can't we just havent seen it yet. If the Pass rush continues to get home for GB, he is not nearly as mobile as Russell Wilson and I think a lot of those escapes by RUss are sacks for Jimmy G.

I think Packers need a perfect game and they definitely have a chance to win outright.

Zero chance....I dont even know why they are playing the game....teams never make adjustments the 2nd time, and having your best offensive weapon back healthy never helps either.

The Packers were at nearly 100% health prior to their November matchup with the Niners. Tonyan, Vitale, and Madison were their only 3 players even listed on the injury report. 

The Niners, on the other hand had Kittle, Samuel, and Sanders all listed as questionable as they had missed previous games and Staley, Dee Ford, Kwon Alexander, Breida, and their kicker, Robbie Gould were all inactive.

So...how is health on the Packers side this time around?

There is more to an NFL matchup than just the relative strengths of the QB's.  Per Football Outsiders, GB's DEF is ranked #12 while SF's is #2.

Of course SF bettors are burdened with laying (currently) 7.5 points to back the superior DEF.  Shanahan's game plan may make Garoppolo look like the superior QB.  However JG's 13 INT's vs. AR's 4 makes me wonder why anyone would risk more than one unit either way.

I am having a bad year, so feel free to fade me with a lot of bleach.

Went on lunch to the cafeteria and the mounted TV had espn on with no volume....while I was eating all I saw was shannahan talking and the headline on the bottom said niners beat packers 37-8 regular season....was displayed for like 15 minutes....yea call me a conspiracy nut but I don’t care it’s how I cap games trying to pick up on these subliminal messages
