I wouldn't call you an Idiot I've watched Carson Wentz all season terrible QB to say the least
Why wasn't Foles the Better QB put in earlier in the season? do you think their seasons outcome would've been different? .... I do!

With hindsight being 2020....lets look at this:
Wentz went to a division 2 school? Why? Because he wanted to live in the Dakotas instead of any of the legit schools in the south? Nope...because he just wasnt ever good enough when auditioning his skills to real college program scouts...sure he must have improved alot during his college days, but against whay type of caliber opposition? Where are all the defensive players he played against in college now? Flipping burgers or making you that double double?
And let us not overlook the huge role the media had in hyping up this feel good story...what agenda did all these so called sports talk media experts have to prop up this kid heading into that years draft? Regardless...i completely agree that Wentz will ultimately be a bust at the pros only because he went #1...can we agree on that? Last year when healthy he looked great because of the talent surrounding him...not because he was the next Joe Montana...philly won their superbowl but mortgaged their long term future apparently, as Wentz stock has plummeted.
Time will tell, but he will never live up to the fake hype placed on his shoulders...in my opinion.
In the day and age of "immediate gratification", a franchise qb needs to produce many years in a row consistently to warrant such hype...and those are becoming more rare than ever....Brees, Rodgers, Brady, Big Ben, even Russell Wilson now...theres your elite crew...next level is Rivers only because he has never won the big game, and next gen stars? Luck for sure if hes healthy, but who else? Mahomes needs to prove it, but playing in this offense would make most average qbs look superior so time will tell...
Point is Wentz was a fraud, and Philly got duped, however because Foles caught fire and helped the team win the SB, its all water under the bridge now and everyone involved should still be happy with the ring from last year which no one can ever take away from the Eagles.

Sorry you feel that way Falopian...it must be hard for you to grasp the reality of this season and its impact moving forward for your beloved team.

Carson a bust, can't look downfield?
Carson 7.0 yards per attempt
Nick 7.1 yards per attempt
Tom Brady 7.5
Brees 7.6
Big Ben 7.8
Rivers 7.8
Rodgers 7.8
Point is, in 1.5 years he is up there in yards per attempt with the old timers who are ready to retire and have been in the league forever, and Nick is slightly ahead of him.
It took Brady four years to begin averaging 7 yards an attempt. Last year, Nick Foles averaged 5.3 yards per attempt. I don't know what crack you are smoking dude.

Foles is a career back up...i agree...but Wentz really wont live up to the hype when we all look back...his quick 10-2 start was nice, but once teams get tape on him, they know how to stop him.
Next few years will tell the real truth

Not a fan of the Fell Opian Tubber, but have to agree with him and Eastside.
There is a reason Foles is a backup. There is a reason teams didn't try EXTRA HARD to obtain him.
Do you seriously think Pederson and the he offensive coaches don't see these two in practices, the film room, meetings etc and don't have a clue as to which guy they think is the QB they want to start when both are healthy? Doesn't matter who is getting paid what
As for Wentz hype? Like all hype it is media driven. Sorry, who in their right mind pays attention to media driven hype?
LOL!

Foles won a superbowl and was the MVP. He was amazing last year but it sure helps when you have a great team around you just like Wentz had before he got hurt. Lets see if Wentz can win a superbowl in his career and dominate a playoff run like Foles did?

Yet the rest of the NFL teams are not clamoring to get this Super Duper QB on their team. They must not know a thing compared to the guys in this thread. You should run, not walk, to your favorite team and DEMAND they give you the GM job of said team.
