I see all these write ups making some valid arguments but NONE OF YOU have addressed Manning's success against zone and man-off defenses which is all the Saints run!  The Saints defense is the perfect remedy for Manning and his little ONE GAME slump!  I even see you guys talking up the Saints "awesome" offense and how they average more than 31 points per game!  You guys are delusional!  Take away the Colts game and they only average 27 which means the 62 points scored against the Colts accounts for 20% of their total year's points scored! Talk about adding fluff to the peanut butter!  Manning is going to light up this defense tonight.

Your joking right? You know the Saints are off a bye and you think Sean Payton and that coaching staff doesn't know what Eli Manning is good at? You really think the Saints will use the same schemes that Eli is best in on a huge MNF game?   "C'mon Man!!!"

They will definitely mix it up more than usual but they will not overhaul their entire system for one game!  They will still rely heavily on what they know best; the zone and man off.  And aside from Manning the Saints always struggle against big and powerful backs.  Even a less than normal Jacobs will be effective removing pressure from Manning and the air attack.  P.S.  Saints run defense gives up one of the league worst 5.2 ypc!  Jacobs must be drooling!

2010 Matchup:
NO - 48 NYG - 27

Saints also had one of the worst run defenses last year as well and that was with Ahmad Bradshaw^^ .

'Scuze me, Bro, but what other kinds of defense are there besides man to man and zone?  All those "Tampa" defenses are, more or less, some variation of a zone.

I just look at the inexperienced LB's the giants have and figure they will get burnt on play action over the middle, Jimmy Graham will probably have a huge game

you make a few good arguments... but you left out some pretty important arguments, too...


Giants pass rush has been their achilles heal this year... even against bad offensive lines, they can't get anywhere near the QB... and the Saints do not have a bad offensive line...

Giants O-line play has also been very suspect... too much pressure on Manning, and not enough of a running game...


these will both be problems tonight...
