@LETGOPACK1234 I see your main argument being the defense has been trash. If the defense is so bad why do they win 13 games a year? Great/Clutch players usually carry there teams to win when it matters in the playoffs
He cant play defense....In Rodgers playoff losses, GB averages over 28pnts a game. I am not exactly sure what more you would like him to do.
He is losing in NFC Championship games....you make it sound like he is losing to scrub teams.

This is such a great thread, it’s nice to see actual football discussion and helping each other out instead of most of the nonsense on here.
Anything can go wrong in a single nfl game, holding on to past W/L results is not a great way to predict the future. Bad fumbles and off ref calls/non calls have doomed the pack in the past. I think 3rd time is the charm here for LaFleur with this current team and line up. Rodgers mentioned earlier in the year that this team reminds him a lot of the 2010 SB team. niners should put up an awesome fight and I imagine Shanahan will have a heavy run game planned (does he have a choice?), and creative screens to deebo. Packers know this and should be ready. Everyone talks about Rodgers but it’s really the pack DC vs Shanahan. spread on this game aside, I like pack to beat TB or Rams next week and meet Bills in the Super Bowl.
bottom line is, Rodgers is Rodgers and he always will be: an incredible athlete you can count on consistently. This game and the next will fall solely on the defensive coordinator. With Jaire, Z, and Mercilus back in time somehow, he has absolutely zero excuses not to get the job done and help take them to the big game

Shanny's balls shrivel when the game gets tight or lead shrinks.. the gut and nerves of Niners not going for it or trying to go for it on 4th and inches and fuking up will cost them in green Bay. Even tho they got the win didn't felt good how that game ended..
True, can't be any bitchassness against the Packers. Those 4th and shorts need to be converted and turned into touchdowns, can't settle for field goals like they did against Dallas. And if they get a damn lead they need to keep being aggressive. All year the niners would go up on teams then just slow down and let them come back. Once Rodgers and Adams are into that free flowing chuck the ball every down mode the Niners will give up a ton of points. They need get up early and stay there by continuing to score.

A team being from a city doesn't mean the players are. These dudes are from all over. Jimmy's from Illinois so he's used to crappy freezing weather as I'm sure a large amount of their players are. I don't see it being more of an issue for one team than the other.

@LETGOPACK1234 Bad no PI on that pick I agree but for a guy with a .669 winning percentage and 8/1 TD to int ratio every season if ur 1-4 in NFC title game ur a huge choker in a big spot 11-9 playoff record 1-4 in nfc title game for a guy who wins 13 games a year
Lololol I you're calling peyton manning and Rodgers chokers ?
Yeah, one freak gets 9 SB appearances so everyone else is a choker?
Making it to conf title games is choking?
Dan Marino only made it to 3 afc conference title games. Man ,he really sucked ( sarcasm

To further illustrate my point to bust apart that Rodgers is a Playoff choke artist, in the playoff losses that Aaron was under center:
1) D gave up 45 points
2) D gave up 37 points
3) D gave up 45 points
4) Led game- tying drive in the 4th, never got the ball back
5) Led game- tying drive in the 4th, never got the ball back
6) Led game- tying drive in the 4th, never got the ball back
7) D gave up 44 points
8) D gave up 37 points
also, lets not forget the vast majority of these Packer losses were with a guy at the helm named Mike McCarthy, good ole Mike did not do so well leading his Cowboys.
So to label Rodgers as a Choke artist is ridiculous, just come out and say you hate the guy for his covid stance or he is cocky. Be real.

Packers defeated this year a number of Playoff teams:
arizona
cincinnati
rams
pittsburgh
Lost by 7 to KC with Love at QB, Adams out and all 3rd level receivers in the game, they had to pull 2 up form the pracrice squad due to covid protocols. GB had a tough schedule this year and went 12-4. Not too shabby.

Disagree, being from somewhere 'cold' doesnt matter. Jimmy G hasnt played in cold weather in years. I lived in Chicago for 35 years...I have lived in Vegas for almost 4 years now....when I went home for Christmas it was miserable being in the cold...it doesnt take long to get used to warm weather.

The strength of the 49ers team is the defense with the DL and stopping the run. Offense is the running game and runs after catch. Weakness is Jimmy G, which idiotic play can cost them the game. If Packers can stopped the 49ers running game, Jimmy G is no match with Rogers.

You are correct, Green Bay was # 2 ATS, I missed that as I do not pay much attention to Dallas, they were a non factor, smoke and mirrors as we saw......

Aaron Rodgers overall Record when temperatures fall below freezing:
28 - 6
2.2 TDs/0.4 Ints per game
108.3 Passer Rating
29.9 ppg
15.5 avg margin of victory Not bad for a Choke Artist!
Source: pro-football-reference.com
No stats I could locate on Jimmy G. record in below freezing weather, that does not seem to happen that often. Jimmy G.s Passer rating THIS season is 10 points lower than Rodgers freezing Passer rating, Jimmy G 98.3 this season.

It's a combo of HOME field and WEATHER.............7-13 degrees at kickoff THIS favors Packers KEY talent..Arod, BOTH RBs, and the ENTIRE DEFENSE !!! YES!!! I am a homer and will be at the game.......GB by 10-14
