Josh McDaniels traded up to draft Tebow in the first round.
My guess is he went like 22nd or 23rd pick, but thats a guess off the top of my head.
He was DEFINITELY a first round draft pick.
yea i wasn't sure where he actually went... just knew the "experts" kept saying he would be a 6th rounder... i said before the draft he should be a first rounder... so far, i am far more of an expert than the experts, it would seem... that is usually the case when it comes to NFL drafts, though...

let me guess... if he went 16-0 for the next 5 years and won every Super Bowl for the next 10 years... he would still suck, right? because you are so fucking smart when it comes to football...
you are a moron, and every team in the NFL (including Denver) was idiotic for letting a guy who is that much of a proven winner last beyond the 3rd round... i said before the draft, and he has proven me right!
anybody still bashing this guy... make yourself useful... go dig a ditch and throw yourself in it...
And I'm the moron? Don't talk out of your ass. KNOW what you are talking about before you try belittling someone.

Broncos scored 3 pts on offense in the first half with Orton and their defense allowed 23.
In the 2nd half with Tebow, Broncos outscored the Chargers 14-6, with Tebow being part of both touchdowns.
GAME, SET, MATCH
Williams missed the first 2 games of the season. You can't expect a guy to get right back into the game and expect them to be affective in game one. They need a few games to get back into game speed shape.
As for Dumervil...he lost all of his 2010-2011 season and was hurt for the first 8 weeks of this season. He's been healthy for the last 4 weeks now and look at what he and the Broncos' D has done. He has all of his 5.5 sacks in the last 4 weeks.
As for Tebow outscoring the Chargers 14-6 in the 2nd half...it just proves me point. If his defense gives up points early...he can't lead his team back to victory. He can only play if the game is in reach from start to finish.
Keep relying on your box scores to tell you the entire story. It won't get you far.

And as I remember that game against the Chargers...that TD he threw to Moreno was a a short pass and he ran 25 of the 28 yards. It wasn't because of Tebow.
Just another situation where only Tebow got credit.

What exactly did you prove? 8 quarters proved what, exactly?
I rather go with my claim that the Broncos defense is now healthy.
I never denied that running spares the defense. Nor have I said Orton is better than Tebow. I never said that letting Tebow take the snaps was a bad idea. I'm saying that he's NOT the long term answer. But he's not the sole reason the defense is playing well. Their better players are being healthy is a far BIGGER reason.

you cant compare tebow to orton. that installed a college offense after orton got benched. whos to say orton wouldnt be doing the same thing if he was in this offense.

This guy tebow is just destined to win, I mean for someone to win 4 outta 5 NFL games with those stats n haters barking at him week in and week out just fuels the fire, what are the odds on broncos to win super bowl? Lol

Thats the smartest thing you said in awhile.
You admit that Tebow, who is basically a rookie is BETTER than an NFL Vet.
Yet you still rip the guy
Thats a contradiction if I ever saw one.
The Broncos are winning because of these 3 things in order.
Tebow, Defense, McGahee.
You are right we only have a very small sample size, but that small sample size has proven you COMPLETLY WRONG.
Thats the whole point of this thread right now, obvious noone knows what the future holds.
Remember when Brady took over for Bledsoe, They actually were talking about letting go of Brady and keeping Bledsoe. So it goes to show EVEN GREATNESS IS DOUBTED AT FIRST

when you win a game in nfl ,consider you had some kind of skill . but Tebow is what 4-1, imagine what denver fans think of him lol. the guy had nothing to lose, but if he keep on winning games for denver then at the end of the seasone peoples who talk trash about his record might consider writing another review about him ........
maybe tebow is the right chemistry in denver

Fail - Putting a non running QB in an option like offense is ass-backwards

it would be funny to see orton run the read option
I've been a huge Tebow hater for years, hated him at Florida. He knows how to win games though. With the rules in football any well designed offense can work since most rules favor the offense. Their defense deserves most of the credit for the wins though imo. When they run into a good offense like the pats in week 15, they will get smoked if Tebow has 60 yards passing and 60 rushing. They won't be able to win ugly in a 13-10 game.
