Let me explain....
When you state that you "are not around" - that means that you haven't been posting. In my case - I haven't been reading or posting.
In order to "be around" - it would mean that you have had the time, energy, and desire to read and post - which I haven't in the last month or so.
I see no benefit to posting plays here. There is nothing in it for me, and usually there is nothing in it for the reader either because even with winners the vast majority at covers still loses.
But I am doing well in the Supercontest - as high as 20th and as low as 40th in the past 3 weeks - and if I win it - you will see my picture along with a gigantic check. Maybe I will wear a covers shirt saying "I'm not around".
Anyone who wants to throw money my way is more than welcome to.
1. You are correct. I am busy and important.
2. Isnt it obvious why Im posting now? Because I am in the top 3% of the contest. Do you think I would post about this if I was in the bottom 3% - or even the bottom 80%?
3. I posted about this before the season - and there were others doing it from covers. I wanted to see how they are doing, and if anyone was doing well. If not - proceed to rub in how I am doing well and all you losers aren't.

Jeesh - I don't know whether to congratulate you or send my condolences - with a record like that I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that I would be winning the SC.
Congrats on the success. I am surprised that out of all of the people who pony up 1500 bucks to play - going .500 would put you in the top third of contestants this season. I am only about 60% and I am in the top 4%.
