Yeah - sorry for the confusion caused by that post I made...

I don't have tonights game.  I went 4-1 this week - but more people at the top have Seattle than New Orleans - so I will be pulling for NO tonight.

As far as who I like - I will be taking NO independently of needing them for the contest.  It flipped from a no bet to a bet when it hit 6, and now that it is widely available at 6.5 I will be buying in soon.

One more thing....  And maybe I should post this in the other weekly thread about fading the Supercontest.....

I have found that (besides this week) the top 100 or so do much better than the rest.  This might sound obvious - or that it has to be this way - but it really doesn't because past results shouldn't affect future picks (in theory).

I always run the overall consensus - and then the top 100 consensus.  The top 100 has been doing consistently very well over the past month or so (besides this week, week 13).

Just something to keep your eye on....

I would say that Brazil is less than a 50% proposition right now.

I have a family and kids - and I just cant tell them with any degree of certainty that it will be safe.  And honestly - I don't know that it will be safe even if I decide to go alone - which I don't really want to do.

Might be the first one I have missed in a long time.  But I will definitely be posting here at covers.

Contest is real close now,,lots did bad at top including me 2-3  ten was a pretty bad beat,,lots of games were this week....philly should of covered...bears, tenn, kc and bills both could of covered some real close ones,

This week I had Oak, Pit, Den, and Minny.  Those were my 4 winners.  So ridiculous.  Look at those 4 games....

if I go out to the site, I see runvad (roasted peanuts) is in 7th, or is this not up to date.

Not up to date yet.  They usually do it later on Tuesday.  I am not impressed by their updates, scorekeeping, or timeliness.

So I made my own spreadsheet that I can grade as games finish.

Also on my bucket list. Just shows how tough this is to do, when there are more than 60% below .500. I mean, these are folks that have some level of confidence to post $1,500 to play.

It's pretty easy to figure out who you are in this contest. We'll be rooting you in!

Thanks for posting again vanzack. While much of this site is full of its nice to get a chance to hear from some serious cappers like yourself. I know it can be a hassle to post here, but I just wanted to share my appreciation for the insights you have.

I will look for your opinions on the bowls and WC... but anything you can share on NFL for the finish would be awesome!
