I like Tom Brady as a Sports announcer he’s been there and done it!, what are your thoughts my Covers brothers & sisters?

Tom is what you would refer to as a sesquipedalian.

He also needs somebody in his ear piece to let him know when he's used the same clever (I use that word carefully) analogy more than once...  He must said 'A+ delivery' half a dozen times.

I get he's new to this and it will take him time to hone his craft.  But it can be cringe worthy.

His voice sounds a little to nerdy for my liking, too nasal.

Agree.  He's getting better each game.

If he wanted to be a coach he would have a job in a second fuk he coached New England for years Bill belichech   found out that when Tom went to TB and won a super bowl what the fuk has Bill done since except suck at tv commentary and no one wants to hire him

Amazing to me that people still watch this b/s at all. Three hours of programming for 20 minutes or so of actual football.

Brady doing OK since being hired by FOX. I hate watching FOX games since they do not run a scroll for scores on games being played. I guess that's why the Red Zone is my Sunday go to. 

Getting a little better with time. Some of his takes/analyzing the game are interesting but in my opinion he’s very boring and bland.

I believe he's making more announcing games then playing.......What does that tell you!!

 He will be ok. Unlike Collinsworth. If you asked Collinsworth what time it is, he would tell you how to make a watch. Loves to hear himself talk.

I like ROMO better but he is solid. Sounded like he was going to lose voice yesterday. Definitely not bad.

This is what I thought too.  He's just 'ok'.

He is good analyst, has tremendous experience, Knows what he is  talking about, bit shaky to start but its a new job

all of us were nervous first day on the Job!    

He's no Tony Romo, but he's improving.

Funny you mention that Mac I was talking with the wife about it yesterday.  I love his perspective on things and he is just full of enthusiasm. You can tell the guy loves football. I'm sure he would make a great coach too.

I like listening to Brady. I go out of my way to listen to him any chance I get for his knowledge of the game.

Playing sports when I was younger I became a student of the game and I listen for those types things Brady dishes out.

For example Mac, he said about Jordan Love, in that spot he does not need to try a risky play just throw the ball away.

That's why some guys throw too many INT's they take on risk at terrible moments to do such.

That explains why Brady was always at the top of the league in yards per pts margin. His knowledge of situations and when to be more risky and when to throw the ball away.

I agree he don't have much personality but I'd rather to and learn knowledge then hear personality.

Granted personality sells but knowledge wins.

I’m honestly surprised with how many of you are saying positive things about his broadcasting. I was so excited to hear him call a game and it’s been such a disappointment.

He doesn’t offer any insight beyond the obvious statements. 
His voice isn’t very palatable. 
He starts a statement or thought and often doesn’t complete the thought. 

For someone with the football knowledge he has, is missing the mark big time.

 I agree with this thought but again give him a break it's a big shift from being a quarterback most all of your career to now a broadcaster
