The problem with Peyton is when his rhythm is thrown off he can't seal the deal. Which is why in my mind he is a really good qb, but not one of the all time greats. He's like the Buffalo Bills of the 90's..no one ever talks about Jim Kelly being one of the all time greats, but if he won even two out of the four Superbowls he was in they would. Or the Braves of the last 15 years they'll get you to the dance, but you aren't taking the girl home. When you talk about the all time greats, the elite of the best, in my opinion Happy Feet can't be in that conversation because he's had way to many opportunities to make his legacy concrete, but with a below .500 record in games that count the most he just hasn't done it. Buick and Papa Johns and the ESPN analysts might be on his bandwagon, and during the regular season they are correct. But when he faces the best, most prepared teams in a do-or-die situation, more times than not he fails. I know football is a team game, but other qb's have won the big games with less talent than he had this year. And speaking of talent, he should be thanking his lucky stars that he faced that Bears team in the one Superbowl he did win. I believe the Rex Grossman led Bears. This guy has been marketed to be a superstar and from August thru December he is one, unfortunately January comes around every year and the Manning coach turns into a pumpkin again.

Look at mannings number in his only superbowl win, friggin garbage. Rhodes and Addia ran for 190 yards combined. Of course you are going to win that game and Rex grossman was the opposing QB.

Another good regular season and...well we know how it ends in the playoffs. But have you been watching the speed of his passes lately, wow they've got nothing on them. Broncos are going run-heavy cuz Peyton's arm looks like mush. They look even more beatable than the past few years. Right now probably the 4th or 5th best team in AFC.And fading weekly...not looking good at all for Denver.

Another good 3/4 of the regular season...coast int the playoffs and get smoked again. It's the cycle of the greastest hyped qb of all-time. He should be sending Rex Grossman and Lovie Smith royalty checks because he should never have won a championship. He really looks old and weak this year and I'll be surprised if they win a playoff game. Although he's pretty much always been a sub .500 qb in big games anyway. Hang em up while you still have some dignity Mr. Manning

The colts beat an amazing defense in the bears. Legendary bears defense in its prime. The colts did that while they had the only defense to ever win it all while allowing over 100yards + on the ground.Football is a team sport, it is not a pro bout where the Super Bowl is manning vs grossman 1 on 1. That is not how football works. It is offense vs defense. Two opposing QBs will never be on the field at the same time. Obviously you are just a degenerate gambler and not someone who has ever played any sports. You remind me of a lost flavor of the month talking head like Kornheiser or someone. Peyton Manning is 38 years old and having a great year, probably the best year anyone at the age has ever had besides Elway or maybe Favre. I don't understand your constant need to crusade against Manning. Even if he never won another game for two straight seasons while posting the lowest QBR ever, he would still be one of the best ever. The colts defense when they won was a patchwork quilt that finally kept it together long enough to get the win. It is a FACT that they are the only defense to ever win a SB while allowing over 100 yds. Now that was the defense Grossman faced, let's talk about the defense manning faced, the Chicago bears in their prime for that era. Oh and by the way the colts beat New England in the AFC championship game after being down 21-3, so don't tell me the road was easy or the bears just conceded the game to them
