Another SB in the books. As always, it was entertaining to say the least.
Too early to tell, but already looking ahead @ next year’s SB odds and I have my eyes set on a few already...btw, I’m a Futures type guy. Futures for me is like a long term value hold that has high risk/reward payout if you thoroughly think through different team scenarios or angles. Btw, scored with TB NFC Champ @ 10:1 and SB @ 20:1.
So here we go....
New SoFi stadium in LA will be the site of next years SB. Possible we see back to back teams host the the SB? Will we see Brady vs Mahomes part deux?
Couple things to remember with Futures.1. A lot of uncertainties w/ year end injuries, free agent pickup, etc. What do we look at now? Couple things to remember that most recent SB winners have had ALMOST always have had - 1.QB play & 2. Defense.
Personally, I think next years the SB winner will again come from the NFC. Remember the SB is completely world wide entertainment business . Having it in Los Angels simply tells me either SF or La Rams seems fitting and could likely be representing the NFC.
Still, too early but so far I’m liking the following to represent SB56.
SF 49ers +1600
LA Rams +1200
TB Bucs +1000
long shots...
Ari Cards +4000
Ny Giants and Washington +6600
Would like to hear some of your thoughts.

I like the Rams to go far next year. Whether adding Stafford will be the deal breaker is yet to be seen but I really like this team not to mention what Mcvay is able to draw up a with a new qb

im a futures guy too. also had Bucs conference, SB and Brady to play for Tampa tickets but for small wager compared to past futures i've hit. this is 3rd team ive hit futures on. 2012 Raven, 2015 Broncos and now 2020 Bucs. hard to hit these things but sure is rewarding considering the risks of injuries and whatnot throughout the season.
i like the Rams. word is some free agents are on the phone with Rams about going there to play with Stafford. wouldnt hesitate to lay some on them. NFC have reclaim the lead in Super Bowl wins 28-27 now after AFC dominating for 2 decades, NFC might make a comeback
Sip on that plus money honey!

Agree 100%. Goff has been a big liability for them last couple years. Team is solid in just about every position. They’ve got a great play calling coach and one heck of a defense. Rams if they stay healthy definitely have that “it” factor.

Depending on who the buccs can resign will be huge. They will have to do some reshuffling i think. No way they resign shaq barret someone will give him a monster deal. AB, lavontae david, suh, fournette, they have to get a bunch of these guys to want to run it back
KC is still great value. I dont see anyone in the east ready to dethrone them yet. They have everyone signed for next season will field the same core team. No one has a defense close to tampas in the east. Maybe pitt? But they dont have a qb unless they make a move. They are down right now but they came across the perfect storm. This is a totally different game with a healthy oline and reids son accident took some air out of em. Reid was distracted and didn’t have his team prepared as great as usual. They will be back next year
Rams are probably the best value. I see them in the nfc championship game with that D and a competent qb now. I dont trust san frans injuries. They have a systemic problem. It is every year for them and is now a pattern. I would not want to play for that franchise

No doubt Stafford fits the Rams system. Only concern I have is can he actually win the big game once they get there? First year QB tends to struggle unless you’re TB of course. Definitely a huge hurdle for Stafford, but they have the pieces to win it all.

I stay away from to win SB , Rather take to win conference.
AFC
COLTS at +1300. Depends who they get at QB but the rest of the team is stacked ..
BILLS +600. Probably got there a year early. Now they have some key decisions to make ( Milano , Feliciano , D Williams ) ..Gm Brandon Beane has done a excellent job decided who stays and goes thus far ..Buffalo should be a popular destination for players who want to win and play on national tv ( Prime time ) ...
Dolphins +1200 Oddsmakers seem to be tipping their hand that they expect Miami to take a step forward ...Phins have 4 draft picks in the first 60 and a ton of cap room ...
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

that would be something that would hold me back. remember Manning's 1st season with the Broncos. interesting to see what Raheem Morris can do with this Ram defense. i was thinking about Chargers vs Rams super bowl for a minute but defensive coordinator turned 1st year head coach dont do so well usually unless youre Rex ryan who almost got them knocking on the door but couldnt deliver lol. interestingly enough ex Ram DC Brandon Staley vs McVay for super bowl? would be hard to believe it happen but intriguing thought nevertheless

Like your thinking in the AFC futures... I actually really, really like Wentz with the Colts more so than Chicago. They’ve been inching in getting it right the last couple years. That AFC South championship has always toss up between Huston, Tenn, and Indi...but Indi’s only hurdle should be a defenseless Titans team next season.
Your Bills is another really solid play. I’m sure they’ll remember how close they got with just the Chiefs in their way. They’d definitely be a live dog if they were to meet again.
I think Miami is still a couple years from making some noise in the playoffs, but love the direction they’re going. Regardless, Miami vs LA SB does sound enticing.

Zona will be good, but have to start questioning Murray’s ability to win with his feet.
Tennessee just seems like the wrong play. I actually think they’re regressing as a team. Can’t see any upside other than maybe improving their defense.

Packers prob played their best football this year. Not sure if they can replicate their performance. I think there were a handful of teams that performed better on the road without the opposing team’s fans...one being the Packers.

Have to disagree. Even if they lose players to free agency, I can’t imagine Todd Bowles defense regress a whole lot. I think they bring in some decent replacements knowing it was key to winning their SB.

The only question for Tampa is age. A lot of veterans. That said yeah they are loaded
As Brady said they finally put it together in the Super Bowl and ate KC for lunch.
What was special about Tampa was the defense. They went up against the Saints in NO, then the Pack, then the Chiefs. The elite passing teams of the elite. And shut them down.
And let's not forget they got lucky too. But..they forced some of the luck.
Should b interesting next year.

Saints? Not sure how many more chances they’ll have. Bringing fans back might help, but I just don’t see Taysum Hill getting this team to the promise land if Brees makes his retirement official.
