An intresting fact about the Colts and ATS. Unless you bet the Colts just before kickoff last week aganist the Patriots most people got it anywhere from Colts -1.5 to -3. So that makes it 3 striaght games that the Colts did not cover.
Generally speaking and I repeat GENERALLY when a team does not cover ATS in multiple striaght games (3 or more), it shows signs of rust or lack of execution somewhere along the way. Either that that team is not as good as Vegas thinks they are. Look for the Colts to be sharp as ever as they really want that AFC #1 seed for the playoffs.
The last time the Colts did not cover in 4 striaght games was 7 years ago. I'm not going to count the 05-06 season in which they did not cover in 4 straight games because the last few games of that season meant nothing. The Colts already wrapped up the #1 seed and Peyton was on the bench. Take it for what it's worth. Chances are the Colts cover this week
no let down.....no t. suggs...manning or flacco?? how's the colt's secondary looked so far since injuries?? Think they are pretty deep this year and youngsters are showing they are more than up to the task. We all quickly forget pass coverage is as good as your pass rush and indy's is 2nd to none in freeney and mathis. You can have the top 2 shut down corners in the league if you don't have a pass rush a good qb will pick it apart regardless. just win baby! You will not see Colts this small a fav throughout reg and post season....don't get all hung up on the line
I am a huge Ravens fan, I have been pretty good when to play them-when to lay off. I cleaned up in 2000 - 2001 when the Ravens where always covering. Defense , special teams always kept the Ravens close to the number. Now this year is a different team. I traveled this year from Baltimore to SD. I have never seen so many yards given up in the air by a Ravens Defense. Rivers had over 400 yrds passing. We still won, but thats when are offense was clicking early. This is not the play of the Year, but I dont see the Ravens winning this game. The last time we beat Peyton, is 1998 Peytons Rookie year. The game was in Memorial Stadium.

i just wanted to chime in as a Colts fan who DOESN'T want to go undefeated because a 16 game winning streak is NOT the way to enter the NFL playoffs.
Colts are 0-2 ATS the last 2 games. I know because i took my money and won on Houston and on New England.
I thought i was taking Baltimore this week but +1.5 (bodog) has me leaning a bit away from this game now.
The reason im leaving this post is because i think its okay to bet against your team. I mean what team can you handicap best but your favorite team?
If any time to stand behind your team bro make it be tomorrow. Indy coming off a phony win, remember...Your Ravens also have better YPPT, meaning there offense travels less yards to score, special teams are better, and Balt controls the clock better. I think after seeing Manning making NE look stupid, this is a perfect spot to bet against Indy. Just my thoughts. gl
It seems like many people in this thread are scratching their heads and asking why the spread is almost a pick.
My question is- As a result of the low point spread, a lot of you say its a big chance of a letdown. If the point spread was around --6 for Indy, would most of you take Indy even though you are not willing to take -1 Indy?
First I want to say that I realize this will be a public pounder but as you know the public can be the right side on any given week obviously.

Baltimores offensive line and Joe Flacco has not been in sync the past couple of weeks and Joe has now had two consecutive games that he has had pressure in his face by sub par pass rushing teams in Cinci and Cleveland. I do not see things getting better this week with Indys pass rush coming at Joe Flacco (I believe its finally catching up to the Ravens their lack of options at WR they decided not to pick up a named speedy reciever and now they are stuck with a veteran in mason who is about to retire and a butterfinger in Mark Clayton). I feel sorry for Joe Flacco because I believe he is a really good QB he just usually has nowhere to throw the football. Their TE Todd Heap is banged up this week this well as his back injury has been reaggrivated.
Now lets look at the biggest problem for Baltimore especially when they play the Colts. The Ravens secondary has struggled against any QB that is able to throw the ball down the field and this week they get Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne the Ravens CBs Foxworth/Washington cannot cover anyone without causing a defensive pass interference. The Ravens will get Ngata back but weather he will be at 100% we dont really know. Terrell Suggs is out for maybe the remainder of the season and this is a huge blow to the Ravens defense. (I bet Peyton Manning breathed a sigh of relief as soon as he found out about his MCL tear)
Finally I have watched Peyton Manning read Baltimore Defense like a book over the past few years and this is when we actually had a schemer like Rex Ryan behind the wheel. This year the Ravens defense is not the same without him and our Blitzing has been basically non existant against decent offensive lines. Manning will drive down the field and convert 3rd and whatevers to Dallas Clark at will all day.
I only see two possibiltys of how the Ravens stay in this game one is because the Colts basically come and intentionally give the game away to Baltimore because they dont feel like keeping a perfect record (LOL dont see this happening) or maybe more likely but I still dont see it happening is Ray Rice absolutly has a monster day and runs the distance of the entire field 2 or 3 times.
I really hate to bet against my team but I feel like I have been here too many times and I know how this will play out this week.

Sorry they do not have the same thing on defense. This is not the typical Ravens solid defense that everyone still appears to think they have... not sure why... guess you dont watch enough Ravens games 
Peyton Manning does not take games off regardless of win streaks and he is going to attack-attack-attack-attack the Ravens secondary and THERE IS NOT SHIT THEY WILL DO ABOUT IT
