such a weid line. Seems as vegas is BEGGING for colt backers?
This might be a bad spot for the colts who have been ekking out shallow wins. However Peyton can slice through that secondary and baltimore looked flat on MNF- short week also. Why is line come up around Balt -1 -2 ??

Ah hell maybe Peyton is feeling sorry for the Ravens since he is wearing their old jersey... maybe he is tired of beating up on the poor Ravens.... I guess my money is on the wrong team here......

Im with you Wakko. It seems people here forget a major rule in gambling. Bet with your head, not your heart.
On top of that your analysis is completely on the mark.
The Colts have the Ravens number and it will probably show again tomorrow.
I love the Ravens, but you gotta be sensible.
The Ravens do play up to their opponents...bad teams, bad play...good
teams, good play, but Mattison takes until the second half to figure
out how to deal with teams (either that or at halftime Ray just takes
control of the D calls) and by then Manning will have most likely
exploited the hell out of the secondary.
I see a penalty fest too. Ravens are the most penalized team in the league and Colts are second LEAST penalized.
I cant bet against them personally, but I can see why you would.
Nonetheless...for the sake of the team...I hope you are wrong.

First I want to say that I realize this will be a public pounder but as you know the public can be the right side on any given week obviously.
Colts -1 or +1 whatever line you get up to -10 I would hammer
Baltimores offensive line and Joe Flacco has not been in sync the past couple of weeks and Joe has now had two consecutive games that he has had pressure in his face by sub par pass rushing teams in Cinci and Cleveland. I do not see things getting better this week with Indys pass rush coming at Joe Flacco (I believe its finally catching up to the Ravens their lack of options at WR they decided not to pick up a named speedy reciever and now they are stuck with a veteran in mason who is about to retire and a butterfinger in Mark Clayton). I feel sorry for Joe Flacco because I believe he is a really good QB he just usually has nowhere to throw the football. Their TE Todd Heap is banged up this week this well as his back injury has been reaggrivated.
Now lets look at the biggest problem for Baltimore especially when they play the Colts. The Ravens secondary has struggled against any QB that is able to throw the ball down the field and this week they get Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne the Ravens CBs Foxworth/Washington cannot cover anyone without causing a defensive pass interference. The Ravens will get Ngata back but weather he will be at 100% we dont really know. Terrell Suggs is out for maybe the remainder of the season and this is a huge blow to the Ravens defense. (I bet Peyton Manning breathed a sigh of relief as soon as he found out about his MCL tear)
Finally I have watched Peyton Manning read Baltimore Defense like a book over the past few years and this is when we actually had a schemer like Rex Ryan behind the wheel. This year the Ravens defense is not the same without him and our Blitzing has been basically non existant against decent offensive lines. Manning will drive down the field and convert 3rd and whatevers to Dallas Clark at will all day.
I only see two possibiltys of how the Ravens stay in this game one is because the Colts basically come and intentionally give the game away to Baltimore because they dont feel like keeping a perfect record (LOL dont see this happening) or maybe more likely but I still dont see it happening is Ray Rice absolutly has a monster day and runs the distance of the entire field 2 or 3 times.
I really hate to bet against my team but I feel like I have been here too many times and I know how this will play out this week.
Good luck will add more thoughts later I just dont feel like writting more right now
I'am a Raven fan too!!But if I had doubt's on my team I wouldn't bet against them just sit back & watch the game.Yes they been having a bad time but maybe you should think about being a Indy fan so you can make alot money.

brother, you will be just fine. Your break down is right on the money. Payton is a beast and they will be fired up. When I watch Ravens play it seems Flacco is lost. He is not the same player as last year. I believe this pass rush will get to him and I see some int's. Dont get me wrong he is a good qb. But something is not gelling. As for the Colts I cant stand them but How Payton runs his offense I just get off on it. He is freaken remarkable. They deserve to be undefeated and I believe they will be the team to beat when they are healthy in the playoffs. I think Colts click a little faster in this game than the NE game. First hf is a play also but good luck to you and thanks for the nice read. Go Colts

I love the GOY play Falcco. Do you think Patriots blow out Jets ?
Is this Jets team really 3 and out after the start of the season? Sanchez can pull it together but the X-factor seems to be the reaction to your coach sobbing. As a team member, watching my coach and mentor breaking down would not fire me up. f he got pissed and put the fear of God in me to perform, I may step it up a notch.
Very weird scenario for this game given Pats heartbreaking loss, revenge against Jets from early loss, and current free-fall of the Jets team.
Flip a coin and hope the unthinkable happens that Bill's hood lifts up and the coin lands in Bilichick's eye who takes out half of the Patriots team in a panic of swinging recklessly.

I think it has to do with the public perception of Baltimore after their 3-0 start and then their next 3 games came down to the wire and easily could have been 6-0... Ravens have yet to be a dog anytime this year... With Baltimore at home I guess Vegas feels they will get enough action on both sides with the line where it is.
Ravens were dogs in San Diego in week 2 earlier this year. They covered......but they were 2.5 away dogs.

This is a big play for a coule reasons and because of some trends. But i would always bet on the best quarterback of this era going against a second year guy

NUTS! Not at all disagreeing with you. Indy wont win here. No way not now. Vegas will be so deep in the refs pockets. Everyone and I mean everyone will be taking Indy. Vegas gets paid. Looks easy to take INDY on paper. TOOOOOO easy! Not a raven fan, just smelling the cheese, and admiring the trap. If you must take INDY, just lose, oops sorry, bet a small amount. Thank me later.
