I hear ya SF. I am not a Skins fan but did follow Taylor. What an awesome athlete. Enjoyed watching him beat down on TO also. When I heard he died this morning, my heart sank and I totally just feel out of it today.
well-said

Another example that you dont know what the fuck your talking about. He wasnt allowed to have a gun due to his probation.
Yes he might have run into some trouble in the past, happens to the best of us and yes he is not a family member or friend of mine but he was my favorite player who I have followed intensely for the last 10 years and its just a shame of what he could have been over the next 10 years. The act of violence on top of it just makes it sad day. My point of this thread was to show respect for someone who has passed away, I would have just kept it to myself if you I knew you heartless fucks would come in here talking all this BS.

I haven't been able to read any of the other threads about this and just happen to open this one up because it was on the covers main page but I wanted to say a couple of things.
First, I may be biased b/c I am a huge UM fan and getting to watch Taylor play was an absolute treat, he and Ed Reed were probably my favorite players to get to watch play there. He (taylor) was so dominate on the field, it was ridiculous.
Today is a day for grieving, let people remember him for the good reasons and let people share good memories they have about him....now it not the time to come into threads and say blah, blah, big deal other people die all the time. Make a thread about it if you want to talk about that. Let Taylor fans have this.....I personally am taking this pretty hard, I never knew him but I will miss his play on the field. I do believe we missed out on what would have been a HOF career.
I feel for his family, friends, and teammates....I can't imagine having to play a game in a couple of days.
One last thing was I think someone asked about how he was able to squeeze his families hand, I was listening to the radio down here and a doctor came on and said that there is this syndrome (sorry I can't remember the name) but supposedly there are 5 stages of it and he was probably in between the 2 and 3rd one where your mind is in a vegatative state but you can have involuntary motor movements....so it gives the perception that you are getting better but in reality so are just in the process of dying. I wish I could reference it but sorry.
To all the other Taylor fans....

LOOK, I have been hurt by this as well, but I am hoping that we can move on and play some good football, we are in a wild card hunt. Sean Taylor is a huge loss, but first and foremost, he is a huge loss for the Redskins Secondary. Your whiny bullshit doesn't appeal to us real Redskins fan. Pray for him and get on with football. That kind of shit is nothin new in the world. Rest in Peace to the Junkyard Dog, good kid, superb athlete, and misunderstood by so many. But these things happen. The Redskins need to us this tragedy to uplift them and not just play with heart, but play well. Joe Gibbs is the best coach to lead this team tho=rough this tragedy. I could really care less about the rest of the season, forget you. we don;t need you liking the skins, its bitches like you who will be happy if we don't make it to the playoffs and why we will never be a dominant team, why we will never improve. We are the Skins, if this tragedy were to happen to any team it would be ours. Other teams may lose players but not the best player on their team.
Hope you change your mind about the season, and get some fucking balls, cause that's what Sean had, and that what the Redskins need to get, some fucking balls. Sean wouldn't want you to mourn him for 5 games, he would want a Super bowl.
PERFECTLY STATED
