A chance for the falcons to get to .500 on primetime? Funny how the books work. SF favs all season at home and losing...get dogged their 1st home game and pull out the win. Same kinda thought here. Atlanta either a fav or a PK at home all season and taking all bettors $ and now they are being dogged @ home for the first time. NFL gave us a MNF snoozfest and I think we get a game on thursday. Matt Ryan licking his chops with a chance to play NE at home with no Brady to save the day. Falcons got mangled vs the cowboys and I feel they may have been looking ahead to their primetime bout on a short week. NE may be already looking ahead to their next 2 matchups vs AFC foes bills and titans to prep for this short week

The hook may come in to play if Pats win by six in overtime just as they did in these teams' Super Bowl game.  Pats owned Falcons in their four recent matchups.  Was it Brady or Bellichik behind the dominance?

The Pats is 3-0 SU, 3-0 ATS last 3 at Atlanta when Tom Brady was their QB. Before Tom Brady they were 0-4 SU, 1-2 ATS. Brady is no longer there so we will see

OA - my numbers are also pointing heavy falcons… one of the scariest teams to wager on. But what’s that saying about “scared money?”…Sometimes the sharp side feels disgusting. BOL! 

This isnt the same patriots team that we are all grown into watching. IDC who they are facing the do not deserve to be -7 on the road to no one!

Rookie QB -7 on the road vs a vet matty ice. Do we remember when the pats were -7.5 vs texans on the road and JUST squeaked out a win?

NYJ by 7.

Dolphins by 2.

Saints by 2.

Only one decent win and it was against a Trevor Siemian led football team. NE is just now coming into their own and @ 6-4 they are not in a position to overlook this Falcons team. Bill Belichick on a short week verse rookie Head Coach Arthur Smith.

New England lost @ home to the saints 28-13 (NFC South team)

New England won on the road versus Houston 25-22 margin wasn’t huge 

not to mention they’ve had 2 lay up games versus the Jets..the fact they also took advantage of a browns team that’s working with a hobbled offense..definitely helped gas browns defense..for a blow out victory

besides the blow outs versus Jets 2x panthers and browns which are teams having QB trouble (offense) margin of victory isn’t a lot

one could say Atlanta is a competent team offensively and is trending up as well (obviously Dallas schematically played the perfect game) I think this number is too high.. I think Atlanta keeps it close enough to cover

everyone will be on Patriots tell me otherwise..7 points on the road primetime short week for a rookie seems steep..

 NE nearly beat the Super bowl champions and the top rated cowboys  they beat the chargers who were favored to win the west and killed one of the best defenses in Cleveland last week. You can make a write up talking about their good games or as you did their weaker games to justify whatever opinion you have. Hell Dallas got destroyed by Denver then destroyed Atlanta using those games maybe the lines not big enough? NE is playing really well right now and should win this game fairly easily but it is the nfl where anything is possible.

Everyone talking about Mac Jones shouldn’t be a touchdown favorite vs Matt Ryan blah blah blah. Patriots are a running football team. I’d be shocked if Mac throws over 30 passes tonight. The game will hardly be decided because of him as if he hasn’t proved he’s already a pretty good QB anyways. Falcons defense is garbage and I doubt they’re gunna do anything different on a short week. Patriots have a top 5 defense that is itching to pick off Ryan. Yeah sure 7 is a lot of points in a week to week league like the NFL but what have you seen in the last 4 weeks that doesn’t suggest the Pats have it figured out and can win? The Pats have played ONE bad game all year, it won’t be two tonight. 

Falcons suck. Period. Home or not, they will be embarrased. No talk of the uptick to new englands super bowl odds? Even vegas is saying something bout this team. Last weeks blowout IS who this falcons team is, especially since Ridley has departed. Kyle Arm- Pitts, isnt going to be enuf against the  pats defense. Matty ice USE to be something, but hes very similar qb to stafford, and we can all see how thats been going mid season. Best of luck all, but the pats - a touchdown is the play. 

I should have explained myself better but you are right there’s an argument that can be made.. for anything and against anything.. they did go toe to toe versus Dallas and Tampa bay..so I’ll just say this.. excluding the Blowouts for obvious reasons..I’ll take the Margin of victory or loss especially against the veteran QBs which is under the number..

What is gonna change tonight? I searched and looked for any angle to play Atlanta and the Pats are just better. I see zero advantage for Atlanta. I see a low scoring route.

Falcons are gutted on offense now without Patterson their shining star of the season. They've only held 2 teams under 20 points, 14 Giants and 19 Panthers and both those team only average 20 points a game this season. Not to mention the Giants lost Shepard and Slayton that game their 1 and 2 WR. 

Philly, Tampa, Washington, Jets, Dallas, Dolphins, all flew over their average team total against the Falcons, Saints tied theirs at 25. Point being nobody does bad offensively against the Falcons. 

Patriots score 28 a game which is nuts, and of course a little inflated from last week. Their total is also set at 28 for this game. So only 1 team this year didn't score more than their team average, the Giants shit show whom lost their 2 WR that game. 

If anyone likes Atl to win you should probably take it with the over, or maybe find a way to stop yourself from betting tonight
