Would it make you happy if I said that the 49ers are 4-2 against the Seahawks in the Jim Harbaugh/Pete Carroll era? Obviously you are bothered by the fact that Seattle's wins the past 3 years have been those 2 big ones, which happen to be the only ones many remember, for some reason.
Keep holding on to them, you might need them to

I don't think there is any doubt this is going to be a great game.

MathGuy81 - Great post and totally agree about the Saints game yesterday. For someone to say Seattle "shut down" the Saints offense is downright laughable. Like you posted, cover up the team names and the Saints outplayed the Seahawks. People seem to remember the crowd and points only.
Seattle's offense better improve significantly in the next 6 days if they want to advance.

I can tell you unequivocally right now, that if Seattle wins the game I will tip my hat to them and say they earned it.
Personally, as a SF fan, the Super Bowl wouldn't feel validated unless the team won in Seattle to do it. Not much anyone can say; most notably Seahawk fans if that happens.

So to recap:
Noted
I am guessing New Orleans has a better defense than SF too? I hope they do; otherwise, Seattle's best chance to score might be on defense (again).
