Personally I wouldn't touch this game. Too many x factors:
Players who may or may not be playing due to concussions
Dominant home field advantage
Risky and uncertain QB's
Seattle can not adjust in the second half
San Fran starts most of their games slow and have stronger second halves
Teams who hate each other and can commit stupid penalties
Too much history as division rivals to go back and forth with
Uncertain weather...really people are looking at the weather 7 days out?
A conference championship where the total isn't even 40 shows no respect to the offenses...or too much respect for the defenses. In which case its hard to predict mistakes, any mistakes by either team is magnified due to few points being scored.

I hope the Niners wins the game. However, I think Wilson is better QB right now in terms of consistency and accuracy. I will also give the edge in pass defense to the Hawks as well. It will be a great game.

Cause Seattle did dominate that game in a way you just knew the saints could not score at all, when it was 16-0 at half it had blow out wriiten all over it again...The game pretty much should have ended 23-8 but hawks let them score a late td for the final score.
Actually no, it was 16-0 because the Saints' punter got hit in the balls with the snap and punted it 16 yards, Graham missing a 45 yard FG because the holder couldn't get the laces out, Ingram fumbling like a bum at their own 20, and Brees overthrowing open receivers and/or receivers dropping passes. It was about the least impressive 16-0 lead I can remember. Only Lynch was doing anything worth a damn for Seattle.

Not saying its not going to be, but Niners winning 20-3 or 20-7 would not shock me at all. Everyone said today would be a great game. It wasnt a great game, it was an asswhooping.

I would be utterly shocked if the niners won this game in this convincing of a fashion. I mean extremely shocked. IMO, if 49'ers win it will be a 3-7 pt victory. Hawks will not fold like the Panthers in a close early 3rd quarter scenario. I just can't see it happening

Niners fans are most obnoxious fans on this site.. Niners fans are scared shitt right now. I love when they post past 7 games. Whats the record since wilson and kap got there? Thats what matters.. I believe its 2-2with seattle embarassing niners in 2 and san fran just barely squeeking by in their 2 wins. which by the way niners were lucky to win at home this year. Another thing i find funny is how people can skew the stats however they like. Ya saints outgained hawks, and more than half those yards were in garbage time when game was a wrap. Seattle got conservative on offense and saints did nothing when game was in balance. That was an azz whooping and game was never in question. San Fran has a chance cuz its the nfl and anything can happen but i would b totally shocked if Kap can lead his team to victory in seattle. Seattles defense is insane at home and Kap wont have open receivers or running lanes. I would say this has way better chance of being blowout by hawks then niners win

Big Niner, they just don't get it.. I love people, but people get in the way of people. I feel this next game might be our best one yet!!!
Hell yeah, its tough but what else would you expect?? Two of the best teams on the earth who don't like eachother. I have much respect for Seattle, but I feel the same as today. This isn't about Seattle. With all do respect, this is about CK7's MATURATION,
process. Pretty damn good so far. Im not here to tell you who to
put you're hard earned dollars on…But y'all know who I like.
CK7!!

Niner, disagree with u about the Saints playing a good offensive game against Seattle.
Now granted, the weather was a nightmare so any stats are gonna be tough to really live by, but I believe the Saints had 181 total yards after 3 quarters. Now them getting 200+ in the final quarter isn't exactly a good sign for Seattle when defending their defense, but one drive for a chunk of those yards came late when it was 16-0. Then at 16-8, they got another chunk before punting. Seattle went down the field and scored to make it 23-8. Again, the Saints chewed up a bunch of meaningless yards while Seattle was playing soft and up two touchdowns. More than half of those yards were on a desperation pass into double coverage where a defender drops the INT that would have ended the game and it popped 10 feet in the air into I think meachems hands. Then I think the saints got an onsides kick recovery after that with like 30 seconds left(can't remember, but I know they did get the ball back quickly after garbage time TD number 2). Then on that drive in true prevent D, the Saints piled on another 30 yards.
I'm on my phone so I can't quote exactly what I'm responding to, but Niner early in the thread you were ripping on the Seattle D and used the 400 total yards the Saints did to sarcastically crack on the Seahawks D. IMO that box score doesn't do justice to what really went on in that game. But like I said, with the weather the way it was, I can't fault either offense for stinking it up last night.
I hit Seattle -3.5 and might add another unit if it floats down to -3. I was wrong a few weeks ago when I took Seattle on the road thinking they would really beat up SF like they they did the prior two games when they were @seattle and SF came out swinging and played an excellent game in front of home crowd. It was a back and forth game and momentum shifted numerous times in 60 minutes, and Kap led them on a sweet drive at the end of the game to win it with a FG. I'm gonna stick to my guns though that in Seattle, the Seahawks are gonna beat them up again.
Later in the week when I get a chance, I will write out a few paragraphs in my thread on why, but really quickly one of the reasons is straight up COACHING. I know I will catch some flak for saying this, but I think Harbaugh is terrible ON THE FIELD live during a game. He does some other things great. Some very important things like managing his personnel, bringing in good coaches under him, striking the perfect chord of discipline and looseness, and most importantly motivating his guys like no other. So I'm not saying he is an OVERALL bad coach. But man, when he gets on that field, he is an emotional mess and I think he is supremely overrated. Every game his team is short time outs in both halves. He does boneheaded crap like running onto the field like a jerkoff today and almost really costing his team(overturn bailed him out) and that fiasco he pulled treating Schwartz like an A-hole last year. If he should go for it, he punts, if he should punt, he goes for it. It the situation calls for a punt to pin a team back, he will attempt a 56 yard field goal. When he should kick a long field goal, he will punt. I don't know exactly when I picked up that he sucks, but it was pretty recently as last year I was on the Harbaugh is a genius kick with the rest of the world. And how he treated Alex Smith was BS IMO. I fully expect Seattle to outcoach Harbaugh and company from every possible aspect and in a possible close defensive game(although I think Seatlle can romp), coaching is all the difference.
There's a crapload of posts in this thread already and I only got a chance to skim the first dozen or so, but to tomorrow I look forward to reading some good discussion. Much props to you, Big Niner, you are one of the better cappers on this site, and I do respect and read your insight and analysis on a weekly basis each NFL season.

Last 4 meetings. Niners 0-4 ats vs Seahawks. I agree that Wilson will have to do more in the passing game but this Seattle team was built to beat the niners. They have shut down corners for the niners Widouts and the best safety in the league. They pressure with the front 4 and have speed at linebacker. On a neutral site I'm with you and would take the niners but games seem to get out of control when playing in Seattle. Seahawks for me

Glyde - taking over a team that continued to underachieve and taking them to (back to back to back) NFC title games doesn't come from being a bad coach.. I respectfully disagree completely on Harbaugh. He is a flat out leader and those men follow him anywhere..His antics are nuts sometimes but so what? You want a Jim Caldwell type on your sidelines ? Who is no different than Bernie Lomax. I love what harbaugh did to that jerk0ff Schwartz.
The whole timeout issue is bad and must be corrected agree with that..

I hate the Niners. I hate Harbaugh. He acts like a petulant child on the sidelines. However, the proof is in the pudding and 3 straight NFC Conference games. That's an impressive resume. All the things we don't like about him, his players love. He's a players coach. Just look at what he has gotten out of Vernon Davis. The same Vernon Davis that Mike Singletary sent off the field. He comes running out on the field to defend his guy! Players live that. It's the equivalent of the MLB manager getting tossed to rile his guys up. I was wrong as to thinking Caronlina was going to step up. SF looks tough. Just look at the names at the position and who is better? Kap v Wilson. Personally I take Kap because of size and athleticism and experience now in the post season. Beast Mode V Gore. Both dominant Run almost equal but tip the cap to Beast Quake for causing earth quakes and more impressive since SF is heart if Quakes! O Line. Equal. Wide outs and TE that goes to SF. Someone will tee Harvin up again for 15 yards, bet that prop. D Line. I take SF. LB I take SF. DBs take Seattle. Special teams About equal. That's a pick em game if I've ever seen one. Both teams can win the game so unlike the hook. Good luck Niner. Maybe we'll see a Super Bowl rematch with my Broncos. GL

dude, you're a homer, you're gonna pull any angle and support to back 49ers no matter what.
i understand where you're coming from and as a fan, i know you will back 49ers until the end. good luck but i really think Seattle will win and face the Broncos in the SB.

KobezKing, I have noticed that you have been betting against the Niners, how much did you you lose so far. You have the chance to double up and bet for them this weekend and make $$.

I think it really comes down to how the refs call the game.. Seattle style of always holding pulling and tugging the jersey when the wide outs make their move will become a huge factor... Either the refs are going to let them play hard football or it's going to be a legit by the books game... The last game they played in San Francisco the refs were sure to not let any of the defensive hold get away.... C Kap needs to make faster decisions... I've seen him hesitate a few times today at Carolina.... If C Kap can make quicker decisions..... And throw zero interceptions.... Niners pull out a close game...

This post is the only post i've seen in here that isn't fan drivel. I watched the first game and refs didn't let seattle get away with their all too common muggings in the secondary. Fact is we have no idea how theyll call this game that's why i can't touch this game.

Will kapernick be trying to audible and shift the niner line in seattle? I hope not, they have to pick a play and stick with it imo in seattle, its just too loud to do all that shifting they normally do. It will be loud the entire game, they werent prepared last 2 times for it, they were shellshocked. I think it's a stretch to think they're going to be prepared this time, we havent seen that yet.
I think the niners are a sleightly better team(and i do mean sleightly) , but the 12th man is worth at least a touchdown imo. That makes this line about where it should be. Russell wilson has started to look small lately, teams have learned to contain the roll out plays by keeping contain and that has changed everything for him. If you keep him in the pocket he is very subpar and so are the seattle wrs.
Still, i can't touch this one because ive seen kapernick crumble their his last two times. Can't wait to watch it tho.

NFL / Vegas wants Seattle vs Denver for all the marbles.
Ahh yes. The fixed game theory. I am sure you do well at sports betting spending all that time capping games extensively.
Trying to determine who the NFL wants to win is vital in my capping as well. It is almost as useful as flipping a Candian Quarter in the air 10 times to tell me who the winner will be.
