I still kinda amazes me, bizarre as it may be after a couple decades, that random people on the internet will go out of their way to talk shit or try and act superior to someone that goes out of their way to post picks and interact with said strangers....all for the love of "the process" and love of sports betting. 

There are so many cool people on this site, but somehow the trolls overshadow them and get the focus. I find it entertaining, but have seen many a good egg just pack up and leave....

 i became a member here shortly after you did .even though im hardly known here unlike some other sites where ive given many winners ,,i never post 

i dont have the time ,,i gamble and do quite well but all my free time goes to capping games ,, theres a handful of guys i respect on the web with picks when it comes to my money,and your at the top of my list ,although i may not agree with you on certain games i respect your input and ive changed my mind about games i was on more than once (lol) and i know it saved be money over the long run ,so i just wanted to say thanks and keep the hard work coming,,,,appreciate the shout out for the animal shelters too ,god bless

Rarely post. But good job last year. I teased all your games for 7 points and all covered except Philly. Any ways I teased all your games last well and won. I make my money live betting mostly and take your capping into consideration when you post. I am sure your bets are 10 k a unit, you’ve said that somewhere in the past. So being up 10 units on the season is 100 k. So I understand your discipline and process. So no big deal being down almost a 100 k which is nothing in the big picture. I will be following since you are on the down slope and will even out and come up ahead. Correct me if I am wrong 

Oh my God ! The man went 2-4 ! Call the fire department. How silly. I'm not particularly good at this, but I've managed to stay active, recreationally, for over 50 years. Yes, since high school, where they had these football cards where you had to bet a buck and go 4-0 to win $10. There's an old gambler's joke where the guy loses 15 straight college football bets and even his bookie feels bad for him, saying "why don't you try something else, like hockey" ? And the college football loser says "but I don't know anything about hockey."  Me, I once lost 17 straight. Considered quitting. Then pulled a "Phil Simms" and went 22-3. The point is that it's a marathon, not a sprint. No matter how good you are, you're not immune from an 0-6 week if you play long enough. Who the hell gets upset by a 2-4 week ? Only someone who doesn't belong in the game.

Van, thanks for helping us. I'd have been 0-3 this weekend if I hadn't looked at your thread.
