Jacksonville :
It all goes down to the opponent and the situation in this one. Tennessee just
lost one of the most important game of their season last week. Instead of going
2-3 with the Jags on deck, they lost a very emotional game at home in which
they probably invested a lot of energy. They were up 28-3 before letting the
Browns come back and win. How can you wake up on Monday and be as motivated and
focused as you were for that game? That’s simply impossible! I love that angle,
and I love the fact that pretty much everybody left the Jags wagon, which
should end up with an adjusted spread with value.
NY Giants :
I love the fact that they are still “faded” and seen as “unreliable”. Eli
Manning is way better than what he showed last year. He finally has weapons to
work with. Randle is ready to get more targets, Donnell is a red-zone upcoming
beast, Beckham is really fast and good enough to be a factor against an average
Defense. On top of all that, the Eagles are not as good as their 4-1 record may
indicate. There are a lot of question marks around the Defense inability to
play one-on-one coverage and the O-line inability to create holes for McCoy. At
the moment, the G-men have a more balanced team, they are driven by momentum
and almost every important player is healthy. Great value as a dog.
Miami : I
think Miami has what it takes to keep the game close, and hopefully sneak a
late game TD to cover. They are playing good against pass-first offenses,
thanks to the insane pass-rush and fast front-seven. On offense, I expect the
addition of Pouncey to be huge for the Dolphins, as he is definitely their best
OL. It should results in more time for Tannehill to throw, and better gaps for
Miller to run. Playing home after a BYE against an opponent that just blew
their last two rivals isn’t bad either. Once again, great value as a dog.
Good Luck
