I agree with you about this being tough to take a side on, though I'm leaning Giants.
However, I couldn't help but to laugh at what I bolded. Baltimore a complete team? Hell, their defense carries the team as they have hardly have ANY offense. Flacco's a joke. But also on the same note, Pat's offense carries them. Brady can put up enough points to make up for the lack of D.

Ok Baltimore may not have a great offense but they are not bad. I mean Ray Rice aint no joke brother. Yeah Flacco is just a average QB. But when you have a average QB and the rest of your team is solid to good then its pretty complete. I mean like you say the Patriots do not have a complete team because they have one of the worst defenses. But whatever its really a pointless arguement.
People are making good points for G-men, but I am still with the Niners defense. But I think the real value is on the under. I dont know how anyone can predict 44 points out of both teams let alone just the Giants.

That is what I saw!
You guys I watched the Orleans vs Niners game again last night and DUDE!!! Drew Brees is good at what he does. He moves in the pocket, he takes 12 steps back then steps up into the pocket and hits the open receivers but theyre only open because brees knows how to make time. Eli is a fucking statue, the dude dont move. If Niners bring pressure like they did to the Saints then Eli will be knocked out cold like Frenchy last week.

The hit on Thomas should have been called a helmet to helmet hit and the fumble should have been reversed... all of the other fubmles were not because of hits. they were because of butter fingers.....and the int were because of brees throwing badly, not because of good coverage.... The simple fact that SF was losing with under 2 mins to go after getting 5 turnovers shows me how horrible they really are.... Hell St. Louis beat the saints when they turned the ball over twice... and it was a more definitive win that SF's.... would anyone say St Louis is better than the saints? Well some might, but they are smoking crack... The better team lost last week... it wont happen two weeks in a row.. SF cant be that lucky

At some point in reading all the pages, I started seeing some of the same things said over and over. Some I agree with, some I don't. The one thing I don't understand is how you're saying a wet sloppy field plays into SF's favor? I'm pretty sure NYG is quite used to wet, sloppy fields too on the east coast. I don't see the weather benefiting or hurting one team more than the other.
I do have to agree that the 49ers D is a rougher than NYG's. But as far as offense, there's no way in hell I can jump on the Alex Smith train just because of the Saints game. Eli is hands down the better quarterback, with better weapons at his disposable, and far more capable of putting damn good use to them.
The only real difference maker or X-factor, whatever the fuck you wanna call it, is 49ers special teams, all around, not just their kicker.
Both teams are somewhat evenly matched and I think the game comes down to the little things (as mentioned plenty of times in this thread). Whoever makes the least amount of mistakes, wins the turnover battle, etc.
Going with the better QB here and what I feel is the better all around team. Giants. I don't think the Giants'll blow 49ers out, I can see a close game for the most part with Giants winning by 7-10. Just my two cents, I'm far from the best on here.

I have to agree with ya brother. As much as I wanna pick a side (which I still will because of my addiction) its a tough one to figure out. These teams are about as even matched as possible. Giants edge on offense Niners edge on defense. Giants have momentum, revenge. Niners have special teams and home field. Overall I see a defensive battle though with either team winning by a field goal.
Maybe be the best strategy would be teasing everything on this day again. Per....
